Loving husband of Giovannina (Caruso) for 45 years. Dearest father of Antonino and wife Nicole, Nicola and wife Kristine, and Mary Jo Pare. Cherished Nonno of Jessica, Matteo, Giulia, Giovanni, Leonardo, Alivia and Natalya. Dear brother of Giuseppe (Aida), Grazia Iacono (the late Antonino), Giuseppina Zambito (the late Joe Scalia), Maria Russo (the late Salvatore), Paolo (the late Beatrice) and Filippo (Tina). Brother-in-law of the late Mario Caruso (Mayuli), Angela Lignos (Panos) and Rosa Caruso. Great uncle of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Antonino and Maria (Gagliano) Zambito and son-in-law of the late Nicola and Giuseppina (Iacobacci) Caruso. Leo retired from General Motors Canada Trim Plant after 20 years of service. Leo loved his family dearly and lived each day for his grandchildren. Visitation Monday 7:00-9:00 p.m. and Tuesday 2:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish prayers at 4:30 p.m. at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841. On Wednesday, family and friends will gather after 8:00 a.m., leaving for St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Avenue) at 8:45 a.m. for Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
