YONICK, MargaretIt is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing in Sudbury on Tuesday, February 11th, 2014 at the age of 100.  Wife of the late James Yonick.  Daughter of the late Raoul and of the late Mary (née Coyne) Vaillancourt.  Beloved mother of Rita Zubac (late Cedo) of Sudbury.  Sister of the late Grace McCrystal.  Cherished grandmother of Zandra Zubac (Robert Ross) of Sudbury and Angela Zubac (Alex Mitchell) of Phoenix and Diana Zubac (Brian Isaac) of Brock and great-grandmother of Angela, Megan, Neal, Stephanie, Andrea and Victor.  Margaret was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 76 Ladies Auxiliary.  She was a founding member of St-Alexander’s C.W.L. and also a member of the C.W.L. Holy Redeemer. Margaret was a restaurateur, she volunteered with the Legion Ladies Auxiliary and for Extendicare Falconbridge for over 25 years.  She was a former receptionist with the Cooperative Funeral Home in Chelmsford and also  a soloist in several church choirs.  The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Friday, February 14th, 2014 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m.  Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, at 11 a.m. at Ste-Anne-des-Pins Church, Sudbury.  Donations (by cheque only) to the Holy Redeemer (wall of life) or to the Paroisse Ste-Anne-des-Pins would be appreciated.
