It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that the family would like to announce the peaceful passing of Lise Madeleine Lambert Yee at Hospice of Windsor in Windsor, Ontario on August 18, 2014. Lise, born in the heart of Shawinigan, Québec had a joie de vivre, love for laughter and her beloved french language and culture. In the prime of her life she was an avid skier, golfer, fitness instructor and racquet sports enthusiast . She leaves behind her loving and devoted husband of 54 years William Yee and her dearest loving daughters Paulinka (Shawn) and Nadia (Dane). She was a treasured grandmother to Connor Rumfeldt, Evan Clatney and Griffin Clatney. Loving sister-in-law to Dr. George and Faye Yee and Margaret Wong. Predeceased by her parents Alcide and Marianne Lambert, her sisters Ninette (Bill) Tobin and Lucette (Marc) Blackburn and her brother André (Denise) Lambert. She will be sadly missed by her many cousins, nieces, and nephews from both Windsor and Quebec. An active bridge player, Lise will miss playing bridge with her good friends at her various bridge clubs. She will also miss spending time with her cherished friends, particularly her closest friend, Doreen (Michael) Solcz, who was a support and source of strength to her and the family until the end. Many thanks to the staff and volunteers at Hospice. Visiting Friday August 22 from 3:00-5:00. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., Parish prayers Friday (time to be decided) at Families First, 1065 Lauzon Rd E. Windsor 519-969-5841. Funeral time incomplete. In honour of Lise and her love of hats, ladies may wear fashionable hats to the service.
