Went home to be with his Savior on July 18, 2013 after the long good bye at the age of 72 years; at home with family by his side. Survived by his loving wife of 41 years Wendy (nee Dawes), his children Kelly Runnalls, Erik Wood, and Neil (Lindsay) Wood, and grandchildren Leif, Micah, Noa, Gideon, and Bronte Runnalls; and Asher Wood. Dear brother of Lynn Whaley and John.  Also survived by 2 brother in laws Bob and Ken and many nieces and nephews. Jim was a dedicated teacher and cross country coach with the Windsor Public School Board, longtime member and faithful servant of Campbell Baptist Church, and mentor to many. He enjoyed many hobbies  including baseball, running and nature. Prov. 3:5-6.  Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd. East on Tuesday July 23, 2013 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm Relatives and friends are requested to meet at Campbell Baptist Church (1821 Wyandotte St. West)  on Wednesday July 24, 2013 from 10 am until time of Funeral Service at 11 am. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. As your expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Windsor or to Gideons International.
