WISE pic0000001ADear relatives, friends and acquaintances: I am writing to let you know that my father passed away in his 89th year on June 7, 2013. My mother Sylvia Wise, my partner Lynn Johnston, my daughter Jennifer Welbourne, my son-in-law Chris Welbourne, my granddaughters Faith and Ava, were deeply saddened by his passing. Jennifer summed Dad as follows: “I called him Captain Jack. He was a navy man, he cursed, he drank and he lived life to its fullest. He was handsome and charismatic. He always had a wink in his eye, a smile on his face and a laugh in his belly. He was larger than life.” Cremation has taken place. On Thursday, June 13, 2013, between 3:00 and 8:00 p.m., we will have an open house at 660 Rosedale Ave., Sarnia, to reminisce and laugh about our memories. Our celebration will be like Dad; informal and down-to-earth. If you didn’t know dad, you’d think he was a “crusty” man, but under that shell was a gentle, kind and caring soul. Thank you to Bluewater Health Medical, 4th Floor; you guys are phenomenal. Nurses do “Rock.”

Love, Al Wise
