A resident of Leamington, Gerard Warmenhoven passed away at the Leamington District Memorial Hospital on Friday, August 30, 2013 at the age of 67. He was born in Holland and was the son of the late John and Gerarda Warmenhoven. Predeceased by his dear friend Mae. Loving brother to John F. (Barbara), Hans (Irene), Jack , Franz, Anne Moore (Neal) and Debbie Allsop (Chris). Also remembered by several nieces and nephews.  In keeping with Gerard’s wishes cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Treasured Nana of Erin & husband Adam Marcotte, Meghan & husband Matthew McLeod, Alissa, Shannah and Nicholas. Predeceased by her parents, Henry and Marie Reaume of Sandwich. Loving sister of Lawrence Reaume, Edward Reaume and June Dupuis. Aunt Sis to many nieces and nephews. Missed by her precious Bijon, Annie. Julie was an award winning realtor and spending many years selling real estate and managing real estate offices throughout Windsor, including AE Lepage, Schuster, National Trust and ReMax Realty. She was a proud and devoted member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church for over 55 years. Julie was a kind, caring mother and a most cherished Nana. Proud and loving father of Karen Racicot (Jerome), Sharon Haggins (Brian), Scott (the late Dr. Janny) and Deanna Bonneau (Tom). Cherished grandpa of Craig (Ashley), Pamela, Matthew, Phillip, Cole, Wesley, Corrie and Sarah. Morley was predeceased by his parents Garnet & Gertrude Hyland. Dearest brother of Bertha Nelson Collins, Doris Colenutt (the late Frank) (August 29, 2013), Walter (Muriel), Jean Hyland, Edna Nicholas (Eugene), Wayne (Ann), Marie Hyland and brother in law of Doug Scott (Karen) and Randy Scott (Margaret). web_Goebel_GeorgeIt is with heavy hearts we announce that George Goebel passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer on August 30, 2013 at the age of 51 with his family by his side. He leaves behind his cherished wife, Kim and beloved son, George, his father in law Tom Heyfron, mother in law Linda Watts, sister in law Emily Beatty and husband John and beautiful niece Natalie and dear nephew Adam. George was proud to be a Letter Carrier for Canada Post for 25 years and worked out of “Station A” for most of his career. George was an avid Windsor and Essex County history buff and loved to sit and talk with older generations about their lives growing up here.  Donations made to The Hospice Residence as an expression of sympathy would be appreciated by the family. Loving mother of Scott (Andrea) Anita (Duarte) and Lee will be greatly missed by special friend Ed Maciorowski, Cherished Grannie of Stevie Harris, Brenden, Preston, and Makenna Medeiros. Dear daughter of Jim (deceased) and Kay Ashdown, Sister to Susan (Alan) Hodkinson, David and Kathryn Ashdown, Peter and Barbara Ashdown, who all live in Britain, she will be sadly missed by many Nieces and Nephews, Friend and confidant of Roger for 47 years. Sally was a Hairdresser owning salons in both Amherstburg and Harrow, Her many, many wonderful friends and clients will remember her for her gentle spirit, loving nature, heartfelt kindness, her sense of humour and  her crazy HATS. She was a great inspiration to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Sally’s love for nature could only be suppressed by her love for Family. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten, our time together will never be over, you are in our hearts. At Sally’s request her ashes will be placed at locations she loved. Loved grandfather of Jeff & Bit, Jamie & Heidi, Ryan, Sean, Samantha, Hannah, Dylan, Cara & Euge, Jeremy and great grandfather of Lorelei, Landon and Eva. Al will be sadly missed by many family and friends both in Canada and the USA. He was a proud veteran of the US Air Force and retired from General Electric in Michigan after many years of service. In retirement, he was able to enjoy his love of farming and gardening and spent many hours “putzing” in his garage with a cigar never far away. Cherished Bubba of Madeline Diane and Leah Josephine MacDonald. Dear daughter of the late John & Beatrice Stephen. Will be sadly missed by her cousin Gail Majors & her family and many dear friends. Diane worked for many years as a supervisor at the St. Clair College Bookstore. Diane also held executive positions in the Canadian and American Booksellers Associations. AINSWORTH, Fred of Blenheim and formerly of Windsor

Fred Ainsworth of Blenheim and formerly of Windsor passed away on August 23, 2013.  Fred was born in England on August 8, 1917 and on August 11, 1941 he married his wife of 72 years, Jean (Morley) Ainsworth.  Fred served with the Royal Air Force in England for 6 ½ years during World War 2, spending 3 ½ of those years in the Far East as a Fitter Air Framer.  While living in England, Fred and Jean had three children; John Ainsworth (Sally), Reda McGilchrist (Charles) and Helen Breault (James) and following their move to Canada in 1949 they had two more children; James Ainsworth (Wanda) and Daphne Finch (Andrew).  Also surviving are a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Fred and Jean owned the Green Door Bakery in Blenheim until they retired in 1983, followed by many tours of Canada and the United States before settling for a time in Windsor.  Funeral Arrangements for Fred will be private.  Blenheim Community Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.  Online condolences for the family may be left at www.blenheimcommunityfuneralhome.com
