72 years, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Thursday March 12, 2015. Beloved wife of Leo. Dear mother of Patricia and Katherine. Loving grandmother of David and Steven Tuffin. Dear daughter of Florence Lambe and the late George. Dear sister of Brenda Lambe, Roy (Hazel), Dwight (Vicki), Frank (Anne) and sister-in-law of Mike Richards (Carol). Many cherished nieces and nephews also survive. Florence and Leo were foster parents for over 30 years touching many lives, she was an avid Nascar fan and enjoyed vacationing in warmer climates. It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of George Sr. on March 11, 2015 at 87 years of age. Predeceased by his beloved wife Anna Marie (nee Millben, 1993). Cherished “Pops” of George Jr., Georgina, Hilary Cramp (Brian), Lyle (Sandy), Lana Samaroo (Hemant), and Connie (Steve). Loving grandpa of 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Born in Dresden, son of the Late Harry and Eva (Corner) Hooper. Beloved husband of Helen (Wilson) Hooper. Loving father of Catherine Shaw of Petrolia. Proud Grandpa of granddaughters Jessica Shaw (John Teskey) of Petrolia, Erin Jamieson (Matthew) of Kitchener and great-grandchildren Vaughn, Greta, and Charlotte Jamieson and chosen grandpa of Joel, Eva, Tyler, and Hannah Field. Predeceased by sisters Madlynn Oliphant, Greta Case, Willa Hooper, Carol Hooper and brothers Floyd Hooper and Clifford Hooper. Tic was a member of the North Dresden Baptist Church, a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #113 for 60 years. He retired from the Canadian Canners after 43 years, served on Dresden Town Council, and had been a volunteer for Meals on Wheels for 21 years. Tic enjoyed working with small crafts and doing needed repairs in his retirement years. Mother of Catherine Watson, Ruth Manchester (Bill), Fred Watson (Karen), Mary Saris (late Nick), all of St. Thomas, and the late Robert “Bob” Watson. Sister of Ed Butzer (Marg) of Lindsay, Florence Trudell of Windsor, Doug Butzer (Annemarie) of Port Lambton, late Bertha Rutter (late Spencer), late Art Butzer (late Marie), late Charles Butzer (late Phyllis), and the late Vic Butzer (late Mary). Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Born in Donalda, Alberta, February 11, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Verna (nee McCamon) Butzer. Irene formerly owned and operated Irene’s Dry Cleaning, St. Thomas. Beloved husband of the late Gloria (1983).  Cherished father of Colleen and husband Peter Lalovich, Dan and wife Janis Fox, Margo Fox, and Terry Fox (2014). Loving grandfather of Paul, Geoff, Sean, Karly and Brandon. Cherished Companion of Helen Shanahan and her children Ken, Connie, Mike, Pat, Chris, Jeff and their families. Emmett worked for 40 years at Dominion Stores, was a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus South Windsor Council #4386 and a member of the Windsor Sportsmen Club. Cherished mother to Ruth and husband Rev. Peter Toy, Ron and wife Mandy, and Steven and wife Lydia. Adored Nana to Rebekah, Rachel and husband Alan, Gideon and wife Trina, Aaron, Joshua, Micah, Nathan, Sarah, Hannah and Leah. Dear sister to Eli, Bill, Bob, Don and Marion. Predeceased by brother Cliff and loving parents Frank and Alice Rawlings, and Jean Manchester. Sheila was a faithful follower of Christ who taught Sunday School and played piano in the church for 63 years. As an accomplished pianist, she taught piano lessons from the age of 14. Sheila will be remembered for her smile, warm hugs, and sacrificial love for family, friends, and many others. Passed away suddenly at home on Sunday, March 8, 2015 with his family by his side. Beloved husband to Ina for 62 years. Devoted and caring father to Cathie (late Alfie) Wells, Scott (Bern), and Wanda (Michael Lachance). Proud Papa to Chad St. Louis, Cara Dawe (Shawn), Scottie Shennan (Lindsay), Andrew Shennan (Stephanie), Brandon Lachance (Georgia), and Justin Lachance (Shannon). Great-grandfather to Delainey, Lincoln, Kooper, Colby, Hannah, Grace, Emily, Lily, Jordan, Claire and extended family. Shenny had many interests and passions in his life, he was born in Kampala Uganda, Africa, was in the Royal Navy, retired in 1989 from Ford Motor Company as a Machine Repair Man, he volunteered for the Police (Auxilliary St. Clair Beach), the Booster Club St. Clair Beach, Minor Baseball, was the past President for St. Clair Beach Minor Hockey, the Optomist Club, cubs and boy scouts of Tecumseh and St. Clair Beach and was the founder of St. Clair Beach minor soccer.
