Passed away peacefully at home with family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer on November 14, 2012 at 61 years of age. Beloved wife of Gary Garrod. Sadly missed by Jeffrey and Alison Garrod, Mike and Jodi Garrod and their children, K.C, Spencer, Emily and Natalie. Dear daughter of June and the late Duncan McPherson (2000). Daughter-in-law of Ruth and the late Wesley Garrod (2012). Loved sister of Scott and the late Joann McPherson (2005), Jeff and Stephanie McPherson.  Treasured aunt of Michael, Emily, Mitchell and Katelyn. Also survived by 4 brother-in-laws, 5 sister-in-laws and their families. Pam was a loving, caring and selfless person who enjoyed helping others. She was a devoted Christian and a faithful servant of God. Pam was a longtime member of the Ladies Auxiliary and a 30 year member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 201 – Essex. Pam is resting at the Kennedy Funeral Home Ltd. April 3, 1974 – November 13, 2012.It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful daughter, sister, niece and friend on November 13, 2012. Beloved daughter to Fred and Martha Mann (Mahoney). Much loved sister to James Mann and sister-in-law Jenni of Manchester, England. Cherished Auntie “Jemina” to nieces Charlotte and Erin. Beloved niece to Uncle Rick Mahoney and wife Jackie. She will be sadly missed by her second Mom, Barb Fick and husband Ron, as well as her lifelong friend Laurie Leeming. Born in Gozo, Malta.  Peacefully on November 14, 2012 at the age of 88.  Cherished wife of Anthony (1996).  Beloved mother of Paul Micallef (Mary), Carmen Micallef (1950), Mary Moscatello (Adrian), Charles Micallef (1970), Josephine St. Louis (Larry), Patricia Micallef, Anthony Micallef (Mary) and Joey Micallef (Rhonda). Proud and loving Nani of Charles Moscatello (Trish), Gus Moscatello (Karen), Kristen Sarra (Frank), Michael Micallef (Shereen), Daniel St. Louis (Natalie), David & Christopher St. Louis; Sarah & Raffelina Grano; Shawn, Kimberly & Michelle Micallef; Laura & Brian Micallef and of 8 great-grandchildren. Sadly we said goodbye to Gary on November 11, 2012. He leaves behind his wife of 43 years Kaye, daughters Karen, Cindy (Andrew) and Kathie, grandson Riley, sister Vicki McMann, sisters-in-law Lorraine (Don Metler) and Sharon Wright. Predeceased by his parents Allan (1997) and Nettie (2001), sister-in-law Marg Neuhof (1986) and brother-in-law Dale (1992). Special thanks to the dedicated Drs., Nurses and staff at Windsor Regional Hospital – Metropolitan Campus Critical Care Unit and 4th Floor West for their support and caring during this difficult time. George Maurice Matlock was born February 27, 1924 in Olinda Ontario.  Peacefully entered the Kingdom of God with his loving family by his side on Sunday November 11, 2012.  Loving and devoted husband of 63 years to Olga (Paska).  Loving Father of Lynn Matlock-Girard of Tecumseh, Leslie Matlock-Crain and husband William, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Keith Matlock and wife Lorraine, of Lakeshore.  Dear Grandfather of Jeremy Girard and wife Emily, Jeffery Girard and wife Charmaine, Joshua Girard and wife Krysten, Brittany Matlock-Guthrie and husband Christopher, of Scotland, Brandon Matlock and Cole Matlock.  Sadly missed by his great grandchildren Keegan, Aidan, Logan, Hudson, Xander, Isabel and Parker.  Survived by his brother Garnet Matlock and wife Mary, and his sister-in-law Ida Drews and husband Donald, of California.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Jessie (Myers) Matlock, and his brother Private Rodney Keith (Bud) Matlock (1944) in Caen, France.  George was a Canadian Navy Veteran of WW2.  He was the Past President of Domestic Foundry Limited where he worked for over 45 years along side his loving wife Olga.  George was a longtime active member of First Lutheran Church.  He served on the Board of Trustees and Elders before taking on the job that he took immense pleasure in, as the Sunday School bus driver for over 10 years.  As a family man, George led his family by example, in a measured, soft-spoken manner.  Honesty, integrity, love, dedication and his love of God were hallmarks of his relationships with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Son of the late Stanley and Norma Laramie. Loving father of Susan and Wayne Sass, Chatham, Rod and Ruby Laramie, Greg and Gail Laramie, Brad and Mary Jane Laramie, Jeff and Wendy Laramie, all of Amherstburg. Loving grandfather  of Blake (Suzanne), Wes, Stephanie (Jason), Nathan, Chelsea, Cam, Felicia, Sarah Jane, Ashley, Jenna,  Morgan and the late infant Katrina (1986). Dear brother of the late Marvin (Elsie), the late Donald (late Mildred), the late Doris, the late Melvin (late Jean), Edna Duffy (late James), the late Laverne (Eleanor), and Linda Smith (Frances). Dear brother-in-law of Wanda and Jim Stevenson. Born in Detroit, Michigan on November 2, 1922, Wyman moved to Malden Township in 1931 during the depression. He worked at Bruner Mond until he was drafted into the U.S. Air Force during WWII. Farming in Anderdon Township was his passion for the last 60 years. Wyman was a man who lived a simple, honest life and was respected by all who knew him. He will be truly missed. Resting at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow. KOLBRICH, John
85 years, passed away on November 12, 2012 at Banwell Gardens. Reunited with his beloved wife Paula, parents Fabian and Maria, brothers Adam and Josef, and sisters Katharina and Anna.  Loving Dad to Erika and John, [father-in-law to Brenda], and Opa to Philip and Julianna.  Survived by sister Magdalena and many nieces and nephews.  Displaced during WWII from his home in Croatia, he made his way to England, where he met and married Paula in 1950, and from there emigrated to Canada in 1952.  Trained as a tool and die maker, he worked at Ford Motor Company for many years, but was best remembered for his little orchard close to the airport, where he grew apples, rhubarb and other produce.  John was a long time member of St. Michael’s Church and most recently St. Anne’s Church. Visitation at . on Thursday from 2 to 5 & 7 to 9 PM. Parish prayers Thursday at  7:30  PM. Everyone is welcome to join John’s family on Friday November 16, 2012 at the Banwell Chapel, for a prayer at 9:45 AM then to St. Anne’s Church  ( 12233 Tecumseh Rd East ) for funeral mass at 10:30 AM. It is with deep sadness and loss that the Middlemist Family announces the passing of Susan Noris Middlemist on Sunday, November 11, 2012, after a courageous battle with Cancer.  Dear wife of Allan; they were married July 19, 1952 at St.Andrews Church in Stanley, County Durham, England and celebrated 60 loving years of marriage.  Dear mother and mother-in-law of Paul Middlemist and wife Cheryl; Barbara Parent and Husband John and John Middlemist and wife Kathie.  Susan will be missed by her loving grandchildren, Carrie Middlemist and her friend Allan; Hayley and brother Gavin Middlemist, David Parent and fiancé, Melissa Reid and Emily Parent.  Susan was an avid quilter and a long time member of the Royal Scottish Country Dancing Society, Windsor Branch.  Susan will be resting in the peace of God at the C. Dear mother of Lynne Fehr (Larry), Sherry Flemming (Armand), Rick ( Karen), Shannon Moore (Dave), and Todd (Laurie). Proud Grandma to Tracey, Kari, Dean, Geoff, Jenni, Kyle, Kaylyn and 9 great grandchildren. Predeceased by a son-in-law George Flemming (2004) and brothers Darryl, Frank and Ray Getty. C’est avec regret que la famille Martel vous annonce le décès de R/Robert H. Martel à la maison dans son sommeil, le 9 novembre 2012, à l’âge de 85 ans, suite à une longue maladie. Il était l’époux bien-aimé de Jeannine (née D’Aoust).
Outre son épouse, il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants: Pierre (Joanne Pilon), Sylvie (Gary Burke), Elaine, Caroline (Michel Poirier) et François (Carole Houle); ses dix petits-enfants: Marie-Elaine, Louis, Christia, Rebecca, Dominik, Andrée, Mélissa, Emmanuel, Simon et Vincent ainsi que son arrière-petit-fils, Adam.
Il laisse également ses deux sœurs: Thérèse (Reynald Séguin) d’Embrun et Claire (feu Auxance Bouchard) de Marionville ainsi que ses belles-sœurs Pierrette Besner (feu Gérard), Irène Larocque (feu Dorval) et Lucienne D’Aoust (feu Marcel) et plusieurs neveux et nièces. Il fut prédécédé par sa mère Mériza Lafortune et son père Damase Martel, ainsi que sa sœur Jeannette et ses frères: Roméo, Gérard, Urgel, Rolland, Raymond, Bernard, Marcel et Dorval.
Membre du Club Richelieu depuis plus de 52 ans, il laisse aussi tous ses ami(e)s de la grande famille des clubs Richelieu.
La célébration eucharistique aura lieu le 24 novembre 2012 en l’église catholique Saint-Sébastien, 1000, rue Frances, Ottawa, à 10h.30. La famille recevra parents et amis à compter de 10h. GLOS, Dora Mabel (nee Scott)

Peacefully, on November 10, 2012, at the age of  87.  Cherished wife of the late Martin (2011), who was the love of her life.  Dear mother of Stephanie Greaves, Marcia and John Norwood, Randi and Janet Glos, Drew Glos and Jan McKinley and Wendy Glos.  Loving sister of Muriel Blaney and predeceased by her siblings Arthur, Philip and Robert Scott and Mary Weston.  Will be sadly missed by 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  Dora retired from teaching both at the elementary and secondary levels.  She was always very caring and creative and her artistic abilities were evident in everything she did.  Her gentle grace and patience were a blessing to all who knew her.  She saw the positive in every person and every situation.  If you so desire, donations to the Parkinson Foundation of Southwestern Ontario would be appreciated by the family.  Visitation will be Monday 7:00-9:00 p.m.  Funeral will be held Tuesday  at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841.  Visitation will continue from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11:30 a.m.  Interment to follow.  Share memories, photos or make a donation at www.FamiliesFirst.ca

Passed away on November 8, 2012 at the age of 90 years. Beloved husband of the late Jean (2007) (Nee Mitchell).   Devoted father of Edith and Bob Dickie, David and Sandy. Dearest grandfather of Sheri, Grant, Nikki, Jeff and Tim. Great-grandfather of Lindsay, Jonas, Kale, Emily, Meghan, Morgan, Lily, Jill, Tony and Brodie. Cherished brother-in-law of Ruth Wygant. Jack will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews and their families. Jack retired from teaching with the Windsor School Board and was an active member of Bedford United Church (Sandwich). TEANEY, Randy D. of Windsor

Passed away peacefully on November 8, 2012 at the age of 59, in the arms of Michael, his one and only true love of 35 years.  Lovingly remembered by his sisters Linda, Sherry, Dorothy and husband Roger, and brother Jeff, all of Windsor.  Dearest brother-in-law of David and Joanne of Winnipeg.  Loving “adopted” son of Art and Mimi Greene of Huntsville Texas.  Special friend and card partner of Barry and Marlene Lloyd. Randy will be sadly missed by his many extended family members across the country and a multitude of dear friends the world over.  Recognized as half of the Branteaney Boys, Randy and Michael operated The Branteaney B&B Inn since 1994, happily earning retirement in 2010.    Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Florence Teaney, his in-laws Jack and Alberta Branton, and nephew Bryan Scott.  Randy’s passion in life was building, gardening and caring for the ones he loved.  Unselfishly, he placed all things before himself and therefore earned that special place in the hearts of those who knew him.  A special thank-you to the staff of Hotel Dieu-Grace Hospital 8 West Neurology for the love and care given to Randy and the compassion offered to family and friends.  If you so desire, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Windsor and Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation or Hospice of Windsor, would be appreciated.  A private family service was held and cremation has taken place.  A public Celebration of Randy’s Life will be held Sunday, November 18, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at The Walkerville Brewery, 525 Argyle Road, Windsor.  Arrangements entrusted to Families First, 1065 Lauzon Road, Windsor (519) 969-5841.  Share memories, photos or make a donation at www.FamiliesFirst.ca
