MINEAU, Gerard, ovalBorn Feb. 10, 1954, passed away on Jan. 4, 2014 at Windsor Hospice, with his family by his side, after a long battle with cancer.  Son of Henry (2002) and Bernice (née Lefaive) (1989).  Husband of Lisa (Pealey).  Papa to Cindy and Paul.  Beloved brother of Linda Strong (Tom), Gerald (deceased 1960), Louise (Garth) Scoggins, Donald, Ronald (Geri-Lynn).  Son-in-law  of Jimmy (Georgette 2007) Pealey.  Brother-in-law of Line (Mario), Nadine (Rosaire), Henri (Marie Josée), Joel (Mylène), Josélito (Nadia), Pascal (Pamela), et neveux nièces, all from Iles de la Madeleine. Uncle Coco will be sadly missed by his nieces & nephews: Eric, Sam, Mitchel, Vanessa, Stephanie, Sara, & little great nephew Troy.  Dearly missed by many friends & cousins. Coco was an avid ice fisherman & hunter, enjoyed his Sunday morning golf with the guys, loved his job and enjoyed working with his co-workers at GECDSB.  Following cremation, a memorial visitation will be held at Stoney Point Sportsmen’s Club on Saturday January 11, 2014 from 2-6 p.m.  Many thanks to all RN’s, PSW’s, and PCA’S at Windsor Hospice.  Memorial donations to the Hospice of Windsor & Essex County would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Suddenly fell into the arms of our Lord on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Victoria Hospital, London.  He was predeceased by his mum Nancy Stockford, father Charles Fleetwood, brother Peter Fleetwood, and nephew David Fleetwood.  He leaves behind Maureen, his daughter Kim Fleetwood-Choquette (son-in-law Daniel Choquette), his son Gary Fleetwood, grandchildren Nathaniel James Rivait, Giles Edward Fleetwood (wife Lisa), Sean MacDonald, and Chelsea Fleetwood, along with his beloved great granddaughter Nova Rayne Rivait.  Also survived by extended family Dan and Marissa Labbé and daughters Sophie and Brielle, and Jonathan Choquette and son Luca.  Jim was an employee of Chrysler Mechanical Designs for ten years, and worked for Triumf at University of British Columbia Research for several years.  Visitation at Trinity Anglican Church, 247 County Road 34 West, Cottam on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.  Funeral service to commence at 5:00 p.m. with Rev. Loving poppa of Jason (Kristen), Justin (Robyn) and Dylan Mills, Jamie Rae Friesen (Colton) and Amy, Ashley and Jessica Breen and families. Darling great poppa of Ella & Levi Mills. Loving father of David & Margaret Pickering of LaSalle, Becky & Scott Turner of London and his late infant son Jamie. Proud grandfather of Lauren Turner, Rachel Turner, Samantha Little and Kyle Little. Dear brother to Jack & Nancy Pickering of R.R. # 3 Kent Bridge and Anne & Jim Duffy of R.R. # 3 Sombra.  Brother-in-law to John & Joyce Clark of McKay’s Corners, Sandy and Laurie Clark of R.R. # 2 Ridgetown and Loraine & Andy Low of London. Cherished mother and friend to Daniel and Tammy Graves, Deborah and Larry Hopwood and Stephen and Karen Graves. Treasured grandmother of Kyle, late Colin, Trevor, Brett and Cole Graves, Candice Noble, Katie, Lauryn, Tyler and Karley Hopwood, Garrett, Joshua, Brittany and Jacob Graves. Great-grandmother of Alysia and Kayla Graves. Dear sister of Kenneth and Winnie Fralick, Sharon Shaver, Joe and Barb Fralick. Loved sister-in-law of Jack and Maria Graves. Cherished dad to Vanessa Gignac, Mike Tremblay, Paulette (John) Boughner, Annette (Kevin) O’Brien,  Lisa Tremblay. Adored grandpa to Renee (Ed) Yan, Meggan (Tee) Turner, Danielle Gignac, Shaun Boughner, Amanda Boughner, Timmon Clarke, Jordan Clarke, Noah Campeau, the late Kelsey (1995) and will be missed by his great-grandchildren.  Beloved son to the late Joseph and Stella Tremblay. Dear brother to the late Rene, Roland, Annette and Theresa. Dear brother-in-law to the late Jack and Bob Donaldson.  Paul will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Paul was a former employee of Kelsey Hayes. He was an avid outdoorsman who is probably fishing and hunting in Heaven right now. KNAPP: Francis Joseph Antoine of RR#3 Dutton

IMG_0002On Wednesday, January 1st, 2014 in his 80th year and his 60th year of marriage.  Francis Joseph Antoine Knapp of RR#3 Dutton.  Lovingly remembered his wife Margaret (Hooley) and his children Joe (Ann) of West Lorne, Bernie (Emily) of Iona Station, Larry (Penny) of West Lorne, Theresa (Lonnie) McCallum of West Lorne, John (Cheri) of Wardsville and Margie (Wayne) Myers of Glencoe.  Loving Pépè of numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Predeceased by 3 grandchildren.  Brother of Philomene Pelcz and Monica Graham, brother in law of Mary Ellen Drummelsmith and predeceased by his sister Annie Meloche.  Francis began his farming life at the age of 23 when his father passed away very young.  He received his heavy duty mechanic licence in 1963 working for Carmen Lyons & Sons, Pop’s Garage in Fingal, Otto Schneider – Rodney and Ross E. Wilson International – Glencoe until retirement in 1998 all the while doing custom work in between farming and repairing machinery.  He harvested crops with the late Ken Huffman from Fingal for 30 years.  He was active in farming in this year’s harvest. 

 

Friends may call at the WEST LORNE CHAPEL OF DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS on Friday, January 3, 2013 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm.  Parish prayers will be recited at 6:30 pm.  The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, West Lorne on Saturday at 11 am with visitation one hour prior at the church.  Father T. Kuriacko celebrant.  Interment St. Helens cemetery.

It is with heavySt Louis hearts that we express the suddenly and untimely passing of our beloved Ron on December 29, 2013 at the age of 61 years. Devoted & loving husband to Pam ( nee Rigo ). Cherished father of Michelle St.Louis and Jennifer St. Louis  & husband J.T Raymond. Adoring grandpa to Austin and grandpa Ron to Louis.  Dear brother of Mary Ellen Tapak, Jo-Anne Gignac and  Robert St. Louis. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces , nephews and dear friends. Ron taught with the Windsor Public School Board and was a consultant with the Windsor Separate School Board. He worked for the Ministry of Education as an Education Officer for many years and was currently employed as Superintendent of Education for the Northeastern Catholic District School Board in Timmins, ON.  Ron was an avid outdoorsman , played hockey with the Belle River Goodtimers and was Deputy Reeve for Rochester & Deputy Warden of Essex County. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234     11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. at Banwell Rd. on Wednesday January 1, 2014 from 7 to 9 PM and Thursday from 2 to 5 & 7 to 9 PM.
