Domenic will always be remembered by his dear aunts Bernice, Clara, Sylvia and Palmira. Domenic enjoyed a long and well respected career in real estate and greenhouse produce sales. His many ventures included ownership in the hotel industry and retail commercial real estate. He will be missed by his many colleagues. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews Douglas proudly served as Corporal 1st Battalion PPLCI in Korea from 1958-1972. Douglas continued his life proudly as father and grandfather. He was an avid baseball player, golfer and fisherman and enjoyed travelling. Survived by brother Leonard and sisters Lorraine, Agnes, Edna, Jean, Leona, Virginia. Pre-deceased by siblings Orval, Felix, Norman, Richard, Vincent, John, Victor, Deanna and Rose Alma. Paul retired from Wyeth Pharmaceutical after many years of dedicated service. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus River Canard and an avid musician for the majority of his life. Passed away surrounded by his loving family, on November 3, 2013 after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer, at 58 years of age.  Loving husband to Rosemary (nee Herniman) and Dad to Todd.  Predeceased by his parents Fermus (1974) and Emma (1989), sister Bernice (1936), brother Donald (1951), brother Bernard (1975), sister Leona (2011), sister-in-law Gerry (2003), brothers-in-law Doug Thompson (1977), Marvin Dupuis (2001), Louis Janisse (2012) and Irvin Brush (2013).  Loving brother of Stan (Judy), Lawrence (Marilyn), Francis (Jeannette), Lorraine Janisse, Annette DiCarlo (Joe), Carol Brush, Leonard (Antoinette), Clarence (Donna), Roy, Jeannette Prisley (Dale), Juliette Bellemore, and Pauline Nantais (Rick).  Son-in-law of the late Bill (2013) and Shirley (2009) Herniman.  Brother-in-law to Denise Solinger (Brian) of Calgary, Alberta; Todd Herniman (Yvette) of Cambridge, Ontario, Uncle of Faith Herniman and brother-in-law of Al Bellemore.  Dennis was the youngest of 17 children from one of the largest families in LaSalle and took pride in that.  Survived by 54 nieces & nephews, 66 great-nieces & nephews, 20 great-great nieces & nephews and many cousins.  Dennis was a very dedicated employee at the Windsor Salt Mine for 36 years & a member of Local #1959.  He was a 3rd degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council #5642.  Dennis also had a natural talent working with wood and could fix almost anything.  He will be remembered for all the nice “Corvettes” he owned, for being an avid sports fan, and for hanging out with his buddies in his “Mancave” watching sports & listening to Joe Cocker.   “Daddy” will be especially missed by his furry friends Spookey, Ginger & Jennifur.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Downtown Mission or the Brentwood Recovery Home.  Visitation Wednesday from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m.  Prayers Wednesday 4 p.m.  Funeral Thursday at 9:00 a.m. at Families First, 2130 Front Rd, LaSalle (519-969-5841) to Sacred Heart Church for words of Remembrance at 10:15 a.m. followed by a Mass at 10:30 a.m.  Cremation to follow.  Share memories, photos or make a donation at www.FamiliesFirst.ca

87 years passed away peacefully, into the loving presence of his Saviour with family by his side,  on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at the Sun Parlor Home, Leamington.  Beloved husband of Sophia Alice (nee Holzrichter).  Loving father of Richard Konopasky (Trish), Catherine Konopasky, Carolyn Rodulfo, Jamie Konopasky (Grace).  Cherished grandpa of Joshua, Jordan, James, Jacob, Rachel, Nathan, Anna, Naomi, Esther, Joseph, Adam and Ryan and 6 great grandchildren.  Dear brother of Adelard.  Predeceased by sisters Joanne, Jean, Eleanor and Theresa; and by brothers Mike, Bill, Ambrose, and Walter.  Survived by many nieces and nephews.  Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 14 Russell Street, Leamington on Tuesday from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m.  Funeral Service to celebrate Elvin’s life, from the funeral home, on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 11 a.m.  Pastor Don Brehaut officiating.  Interment Erie Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Leamington.  Memorial donations, made by cheque, to the Gideons, would be appreciated.  Family & Friends may share their memories at www.reidfuneralhome.ca

Looking down on us from heaven as our guardian angel, we sadly announce the passing of Patrick Lafeber (56 years) with his family by his side, we said our good-byes on Wednesday, October 30th at the Windsor Regional Hospital (Met Campus). Survived by his wife and soulmate Wendy, son and bestfriend Clint, daugther-in-law Jennifer (Rempel), Proud and Loving Papa to Jaxyn, Parker, Payton and the late Kasyn Drew. Also survived by his mother Catherine Lafeber, and the late Andy Lafeber, mother in law Jane Moir. Best friends to Kevin, Lisa and Jenna Gill. He will also be sadly missed by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews and nieces. Special thank you to Riveria Health Care for their compassionate care of Pat. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 14 Russell Street, Leamington (519-326-2631) Monday from 9 a.m. until time of Memorial Service to celebrate Pat’s life at 11 a.m. Pastor Nathan Albrecht officiating. web_Provost, JohnOn November 1, 2013 at the age of 76 years.  Loving husband of 52 years of Betty (nee Beaudoin).  Dearest father of Louanne Provost and husband Rick McMullin, Marcy Cheetham and husband Jim.  Cherished Papa of Nicole, Justin, Malcolm and Makayla.  Special thanks to his brother-in-law and sisters-in-law; Ron, Sandy and Connie, for their helpful support.  John retired from The Canadian Transit Company (Ambassador Bridge) after many years of dedicated service.  Over the years, John was most generous with his time, volunteering for various local organizations.  Thanks also to the many caregivers, who have assisted him in his times of need.  If you so desire, donations to Hospice Residential or Windsor & Essex Cancer Centre Foundation would be appreciated by the family.  A private family service was held and cremation has taken place.  Arrangements entrusted to Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841.  Share memories, photos or make a donation at www.FamiliesFirst.ca

web_Beneteau_JamesCherished husband of Penny (nee Lazarus) for 28 years.  Loving father of Ron and Elaine, James, Amanda and Aaron.  Proud Papa of Kyle, Kaitlynn, and Kayla.  Adored son of Martin and Freda Beneteau.  Will be missed by his siblings Joe and Pam Beneteau, Genny and Ron Deschamps, Lawrence and Lisa Beneteau, Paul and Jean Beneteau, Theresa and Dave Meloche, and Loretta and Martin Dekold. Dear brother-in-law to Ray and Carol Lazarus, Joanne and Mike Antaya, Judy and Rick Chittle. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Jim was an accountant for many years with Hyatt Lassaline.  He was an active member at Lakeshore St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church. He volunteered his time as the Church accountant as well as ushering during Sunday Services.  Donations made to Myeloma Canada would be appreciated by the family. Visiting Tuesday from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at Families First 1065 Lauzon Rd., East Windsor (519) 969-5841. Cherished father to Matthew and wife Shannon Semande, Michael Semande and loving step-father to Shawn Dunn and Amanda Dunn (Josh Maltais). Beloved Pipi to Ethan, Shayne, Seth and Baby Maltais who is on his way. Adored son to Anne and the late James Semande (2010). Treasured brother to Gerry and wife Leona, Don and wife Mary Semande, Brian Semande and Kevin Semande. Dear son-in-law to Norma and the late Dan Carosella (2000). Greg will be missed by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Greg had many friends with whom he enjoyed playing pool, fishing, golfing, camping and he enjoyed life to the fullest. He will be missed by many. Greg was a long time employee of Sure Seal Roofing and Siding. The family would like to send a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at London Health Sciences Victoria Hospital Critical Care Trauma Centre for their kindness, compassion and heroic efforts.
