Gordon will be sorrowfully missed and always deeply loved by his children Stephen (Carmen), Maria (Ron Simard), John, Laurie (Brett Skinner), Carla (Tim Lane), Matt (Raquel), Vince (Patricia), Amy (Jay Bott), and Tim. He will also be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his grandchildren Emily and Nick Simard, Donnatella, Silvia and Anthony, Lydia, Mariah, Sarah and Ella Bott, and Sydney and Daphne Lane, and his numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, and cousins. Gordon was born in Windsor on June 10, 1928, the only one of his brothers (Tony, Frank, and Joseph) and sisters (Connie and Kay) to be born in Canada to Stefano and Anna (Colarco) DeMarco. Gordon graduated with a degree in law from Osgoode Hall in 1956, and also worked at Valiant before retiring in 1994, but so much more he was valued at his post as father, papa, pops, papasan, dad, and Nono. Thank you to the excellent caregivers at Hotel Dieu and Berkshire, Dr. Dale Ziter, Dr. Albert Ng, and Dr. Kenette. Rev. Herbert Wallace Wonfor (1924-2015). With sadness, the family of Herb Wonfor announces his death on September 3rd at his late residence, Grand Wood Park, London. Herb was the beloved husband of Margaret (nee Brown) for 58 years.  His memory will be cherished by his five children:  Janet O’Brien (Kevin), Ruth Beggs, John (Siva Swaminathan), Katherine, and Alison Gibbs (Stephen) and his grandchildren: Andrea and Jeffrey Beggs, Isaac and Rachel Gibbs, Gabriel O’Brien (Meaghan), Jeffrey O’Brien and Swetha Wonfor and great-granddaughter, Addison O’Brien.  He is survived by a brother-in-law James Brown and his wife Eunice of Nepean, ON. Herb was born in Montreal, the son of the late John and Gertrude Wallace Wonfor.  He was predeceased by his only brother John and sister-in-law Pat.  Herb was educated in the Protestant School System in Westmount, QC and at McGill University where he received degrees in Science, Commerce and Divinity.  In 1952 he was ordained a minister of the United Church of Canada and during 38 years of pastoral ministry served congregations in Peace River, AB; Ottawa; Hudson, QC; Clinton, Maidstone, Windsor and Durham.  He also served the United Church through his contribution in various committees at the Presbytery, Conference and General Conference level.  Upon retirement in 1990, Herb and Margaret moved to London where they participated as volunteers in church and community life. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff of Grand Wood Park for care and kindness over the past few months and also to the palliative care team of the V.O.N. whose expertise and compassionate care gave us strength for the trials of the past few weeks. Friends will be received by the family from 6-8 pm on Friday, September 11, 2015 at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street, South, London. A service of thanksgiving for Herb’s life will be held at Wesley-Knox United Church, 91 Askin Street, London on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 11 am. Passed away peacefully August 27th, at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Marlene for 49 years. Loving father to Dean (Kristina) and Neil (Gia) with 2 beautiful grand-daughters, Brianna and Isabella. Andre was predeceased by parents John and Marie Jeanne. Brother of the late Johnny and Suzanne Ataman, survived by sisters Shirley (Jean Pierre), Sylvia (Jean), Sheila (Clement), brother Robert (Celine) and cousins, nieces and nephews. Andre moved from Quebec and started his journey in Ontario with the Royal Bank. He was a Driving Instructor for over 40 years in Sault Ste. Marie and Windsor. In addition he also worked for CP Rail for 25 years. As an active member of of the Father A. Nolan Knights of Columbus Council 9865 for 20 years, Andre was past Grand Knight and held the the title of Treasurer the last 8 years. He was also a 4th Degree Member of Father A. Kerckhaert Assembly 2289 and held many positions including Navigator and Captain. He enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren, watching his sons play baseball, going to concerts and travelling the world with his wife Marlene. It is with profound sadness that we express the passing of our beloved Joe on August 31, 2015 at 63 years of age after a courageous battle with cancer. Loving husband of Marlene ( nee Matos ) to whom he celebrated 31 years of marriage. Amazing father to Elizabeth Martinu and husband Chad, and Stephen Edmondson. Predeceased by his parents, Bernard and Anne Edmondson and brother John. Survived by sisters Mary ( Jim ) Campbell of Ireland, Ann and Theresa both of Windsor and brother Paul of Bath, ON. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Joe was a dedicated Human Resources Manager in Windsor / Essex for 30 years before his retirement. He was also an avid visual artist, gardener, nature fanatic and outdoor enthusiast, but his greatest love was his family. We will always remember his ever present smile and sense of humour. Visitation WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME ( Main Chapel ) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Thursday from 3 to 5 & 7 to 9 PM. Parish prayers Thursday at 8:00 PM. Everyone is welcome to join the family at St. Mary’s Church in Maidstone ( 12048 County Rd 34. Maidstone, ON ) on Friday September 4, 2015 from 10:00 AM until time of Joe’s funeral mass at 11:00 AM with Fr. Moe Charbonneau Officiating. A procession to follow to Heavenly Rest Cemetery where cremation will take place. The family would like to thank the staff from the 3rd floor Palliative Care Unit at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital for their compassionate care shown to Joe and his family. Passed away peacefully surrounded by family, at the age of 78 on August 30th , 2015. Dear wife of Earl “T’Boy” for 62 years. Loving mother to Earl Jr. (Butch), Leslie, and Cindy Scodeller (Ren). Proud grandmother to Ryan (Violeta), and Dana (Kelly) and great-grandmother to Analise and Theodore. Daughter to Herman and Mae White, and survived by brother Paul (Carol) and sister Connie. Marion will also be missed by brother-in-law Robert (T’Guy) and sisters-in-law Jeanine (Leonard), Claudette (Richard), Lisette Lucille (Vince), Charmaine (Dave), Lisa (Moss), and nieces and nephews too numerous to name. Loving mother of Cindy Lister (2014), George Worley (Bonnie), William Worley (Lucille), David Worley (1999) (Shelley), Kevin Worley (Heather), Michael Wigle, Jerry Wigle (Rose), Mari-Lynn Charron (Vern), and Kim Derring (Cliff). Doting grand-mother to 33 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Dear sister to James, Jerry (Sherry), Barb (Kevin), Mikey (Joanne), Pat (Jack), Bob, Sharon (Rick), and Ken (Judy). Eugenio is predeceased by 4 sisters in Italy and a sister, Maria, in Canada. He is survived by many nieces, nephews and family in Canada and italy. Eugene retired from Chrysler Canada after 34 years of dedicated service. He was a very proud member of C.A.W.
