Gladys May Racher died peacefully on of July, 25th, 2015 at the age of 96. Gladys was predeceased by her husband Dr. Earl Francis Racher. She is sister to Douglas and Gordon(Bud) Miller , and Ian Miller ( deceased) Beloved mother of Beverley McNeill ( Murray), Sharon Williamson (Tom) and Brian Racher. Fondly loved by grandchildren Scott McNeill (Stephanie), Rob McNeill (Amy), Marcie Meza (Felix), Jeff Williamson (Tarah), Jennifer Kondrat (Jeff) and Corey Racher (Hillary). Great grandchildren include Sydney and Ryan McNeill, Max and Alex Meza and Nash and Tyler Kondrat. In keeping with Gladys’ wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service or visitation. Private family interment of ashes has taken place at Hillsdale Cemetery in Petrolia. Also survived by her aunt Ila Farough and many cousins. Sharon worked for many years at Fox and Neal Orchards in Ruthven. She also worked at H&R Block in Kingsville during income tax season. Sharon also owned the Bulk Food Warehouse in Kingsville. She finished her working career as a driver for Shoppers Drug Mart in Belle River. Heather BarrettBARRETT – Heather Dawn (nee Gammon) of St. Thomas, Ont. passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at the age of 44.  Beloved wife of Scott Barrett.  Heather will be deeply missed by daughters Cassie and Amanda.  Dearly loved daughter of Len and Carole Gammon of Essex.   Adored sister of Karen (Greg) Dobson of Kingsville. She was an excellent cook and kept a bountiful table. She had a deep and abiding faith and viewed daily Mass with her husband, Luigi. In his 57th year, it is with great sorrow that after a long and brave battle with cancer, we announce the passing of a loving father, son, brother and uncle on July 19, 2015. Chris is predeceased by his father Richard Wayne Johnson (1971), his brother Mark Stephen Johnson (2011), his step-father Ollie Sharp (2014) and step-sister Marci Dobson (2011); Survived by his mother Betty Jane Sharp of Leamington. Beloved father of Melissa Hunter (Johnson) and husband Justin. Brother of Rick Johnson (Dodi) of Sarnia, Cathy Hazael (Brian) of Belmont and Jeff Johnson of Leamington. Fondly remembered by step-sisters Marla Ward (Brian), Maria Kovacs (Les), Mary Dick (Larry), Margret Kennedy (Chris), and Marion Goyette (Alan). Chris is uncle to Lauren, Daryl, Gillian (Jamie), Alexa, Matthew, Amanda, great uncle to Owen and many other step nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins. The Johnson/Sharp family would like to extend their appreciation to the medical staff of the Leamington District Memorial Hospital and the CCAC for their service, patience and empathy shown to our dear father, son and brother. Chris worked for the Canada Postal Corporation since 1999 as a postal carrier and met many wonderful people through his work from colleagues to those he delivered mail to on his various routes over the years. In respect of Chris’ wishes, a private family graveside service has taken place. Rev. Linda Blair officiated. Chris has been laid to rest beside his father and brother at Colchester Memorial Park Cemetery. A Memorial Gathering to honour Chris’ memory will be held at Reid Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 14 Russell St., Leamington (519-326-2631) on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from 3-5 p.m. Family and friends are welcome.
