WILSONwebphotoMaggie “Margaret” Wilson,(born July 30, 1917) of Hanover, peacefully as the Lord called her Home at Hanover and District  Hospital, on Saturday, March 23, 2013 in her 96th year.

Born in Ballymaconnelly, Northern Ireland, daughter of the late Archie and Martha (Kilpatrick) McIlfatrick, Margaret immigrated to Canada in 1957 with her late husband Fred Wilson (1917-2000) and moved to Hanover in 1998.  Margaret was a seamstress for the Hudson Bay Company until retiring.

Survived by son Alan Wilson of Toronto, daughter Rev. Alice Wilson of Hanover, precious grandsons Ashley Wilson (Katy) of Toronto, Christopher Wilson (Misa) of CzechRepublic and greatgrandchildren Adrian and Mia Wilson. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews throughout the world. She is the last surviving member of her family.  Predeceased by husband John “Fred” Wilson, three brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Hanover on Monday, March 25, 2013 from 1:00 pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 2:00 pm.  Rev. Don Hill officiating. Interment in Highland Memory Gardens, Willowdale, Ontario.

Memorial donations to St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.
