Dear sister of Biddy, Theresa, Ita, Claire, and predeceased by her sisters Mary, Nora and her brother Dan. Dearly missed by her co-workers and her extended family in Canada and Ireland. Amelia was born in Kilshanny County Clare, Ireland. She was a nurse in both Welland and Hillsdale Manor in Oshawa, until her retirement in 1994, after which she actively divided her time between world travels, activities with the Catholic Women’s League, and living year round at the family cottage on Belmont Lake.
