Surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, March 10, 2012 Wilma Robina Liorentas passed away at home at the age of 87. Wilma Robina (Bruce) Liorentas was born on February 25, 1925 in Fort William, Thunder Bay, Ontario. Beloved wife of Victor Liorentas. Loved mother of Diane Cooper (Neville), Scott James (Karen), Vicki Williams (Tony) and Bruce James (Carolyn). Cherished nana of Leanne Cooper (Steve), Lori Lindsay (Charlie), Jeremy Williams, Robin Major (Marc), Kelly Howell (Brad), Chloe James, Colton James, Christopher James and Brittanni George. Loving great grandmother of Adam Cooper, Braxton and Kensley Lindsay, Austin, Madison and Miley Major, Isabella and Ryder Howell. Dear Sister of Isabelle Cattanach (Lachlan) of Markham, Ontario, Ian Bruce (Catherine) of London, Ontario and Geraldine Baker and the late Clare Baker of Sutherland, Ontario. Predeceased by her beloved parents Victor and Margaret Bruce of Thunder Bay, Ontario. At Wilma’s request there will be no funeral or visitation. A Celebration of Life Reception will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2012 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at The Smith Family Centre, 1576 London Line, Sarnia.  Cremation has taken place. Wilma served in WWII with the Canadian Women’s Army Corps., she was a former member of Ironworks Gym, enjoyed Yoga and Tai Chi.  Wilma will be greatly missed by her family, friends and her dear companion pet Miss Molly. She shared her soft touch with us all and thus we each experienced the varied textures of her life.
