Widdicombe canobitsPassed away suddenly but peacefully at Greater Niagara General Hospital on Monday, February 11, 2013 at the age of 67. Mike was dearly loved and will forever be missed by his wife Roxanne Widdicombe; daughters, Julie Jackson (Ben Huebner) and Andrea Borg (Jarrett); brother, Doug Widdicombe (Nancy) and sister, Elaine Searle (Glen).  Mike was a hard-working man whose greatest joy was his family.  The jokester entertained all that he met. His beautiful artwork will always be around and will keep him near us. His old model cars and trucks will forever be a reminder of his place in our home. Our greatest appreciation goes out to all the wonderful doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists and personal support workers that cared for Mike over the past two months.

Cremation has taken place.  Mike’s family will receive friends at Grace Gospel Church (corner of Valley Way & Portage) on Saturday morning from 10-11 o’clock followed by a service at 11 o’clock.  In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Mark Preece Family House in Hamilton, or Brain Injury Community Re-entry of Niagara (BICR) through MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls.
