It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother, sister, daughter and friend, Mary Ann, at the age of 44 years. She passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, December 8, 2014. Her three cherished children Ashley, Adam and Aidan will miss her dearly. She was the beloved daughter to Tom and Mary (nee Jabbour) Nohra. Dearest sister to Shirley Taouil (Milad), Sgt. Emig Nohra (Michelle), Giselle Banner, Louise Boomer, Joe Nohra (Joyce). She will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and one great niece and one great nephew and many friends. Mary Ann was a long time employee at Libro Credit Union (formerly United Communities Credit Union) where she made countless friends. Mary Ann’s generosity and selflessness towards others, especially her family, knew no boundaries. She taught her family the value of dignity and respect for others. She will be truly missed. The family would like to thank the staff at the Windsor Essex Cancer Centre, Dr. Elfiki and his staff, the nurses from Bayshore and VON, especially Vicki, for all of your support, care and compassion during this difficult time. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 14 Russell Street, Leamington on Wednesday from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers Wednesday evening. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 10 a.m. from St. Joseph’s Church, 310 Sherk Street, Leamington. Fr. Patrick Beneteau officiating. Interment Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. If desired memorial donations, in Mary Ann’s memory, may be made to the Windsor Essex Cancer Centre Foundation.
