WINNIFRED MAY, Mar 6, 1943. Under Hospice care, Winnifred quietly passed away on June 30, 2013 in Port Orange Florida after a long and difficult struggle. The sun was shinning and it was warm. She was born and educated in Chatham Ontario a long time ago. She fulfilled her dream by attending the Teachers’ College in Windsor and became an Educator. She is survived by her long, long time husband Jim, two sons, Chris of Brantford, daughter-in-law Stephanie and Nick of Kitchener, three grandchildren Zachery, Tyson and Samantha of Brantford, brother Dave Rikley and his wife Judy of Chatham, niece Jillian and nephew Paul, Sister-in-law Wendy Buckley of Southampton, Two nieces Amy and Sarah and nephew Matt of Southampton, Aunts Evelyn (Windsor) and Gertrude (Windsor) and Uncle Lewis (Michigan) and an uncountable number of Cousins (who are all special), Aunt Vivian (Nova Scotia), niece Sandra and nephew Rick (Nova Scotia). Winnifred taught at the Dunwich-Dutton Public School for 30 years and enjoyed almost every child that entered her classroom. A mention of special friends Carolyn and Allister, Anne as well as Charlie and Nick. Won’t be the same without her
A celebratory service will be held at the Arn Funeral Home 193 Shackleton St. Dutton, 519-762-2416 on Thur. July 11, 2013 visitation at 11 A.M until service at 1 P.M. Donations to the Diabetic Association or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated. Email condolences arnfuneralhome@bellnet.ca
