It is with great sadness that we announce the death on Friday, December 19, 2014 of Arthur at the age of 85. WWII British Naval Veteran, Retired after thirty years with Chrysler Canada in Windsor Survived by his children: Wayne Turner, Angelic (Brett) Tuovinen, and Arthur Jr. (Julie).   Known as “Pipop” and adored by his grandchildren: Travis,(GF Jessica) Katelinn, Rachael, and Luke. Reunited with wife Patricia (Trepanier) 1997 and parents Arthur Ernest and Marjorie Stewart (Brett) and step brother Brian Brett (Mae). Arthur will be missed by his Best Friend Norman Cole (Pauline) and family in England, neighbors: Bill and Pierrette, Linda, Gail and Al, Rob and Tracey, Bill & Joyce. “Joe” (as his sister in laws Virgie (Carole) Marilyn, know him) cannot be replaced for their regular card games, breakfast and love that they gave to their brother in law. All his nieces and nephews and relatives in Canada and the U.S.A. Special thanks to Kurt (Comber Drug Store), Dr. Raymond Anderson and staff for over 30 years of continuous care, CCAC and St. Elizabeth nurses, the staff at Leamington District Memorial Hospital for their brief but excellent care. If you so desire, donations to The Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation Heart, Windsor & Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation, St. Mark’s-by-the-Lake Church, Windsor Goodfellows or the Downtown Mission of Windsor would be appreciated by the family. Veterans Service Friday at 2:00 P.M. under the auspices of the Windsor Veterans Memorial Services Committee.
