weppler-webLeroy Weppler, of Ayton, passed away at SBGHC – Durham on Monday, November 11, 2013, in his 78th year.

Born on March 20, 1936 to the late Alvin and Lavina (nee Fischer) Weppler.  Leroy and his wife Betty farmed in Normanby until his retirement.  He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church Choir and the Ayton Seniors.

Survived by wife Betty (nee Brown) Weppler of Ayton, children Kevin (Michelle) Weppler of Romania, Karen (Ken) Glasser, Keith Weppler both of RR 2 Ayton and Ken (Brenda) Weppler of RR 1 Walkerton; grandpa to Shawn (Kristen), Rachelle (Jason), Brittany, Erin, Kristopher (Traci), Kyle, Ryne and Kelsey and greatgrandpa to nine.  Also survived by his brothers Lloyd (Velma) Weppler of Ayton, Noah (Sharon) Weppler of RR 1 Neustadt and Lawrie (Audrey) Weppler of RR 3 Ayton.  Predeceased by his sister Rita Wilson and two brothers in infancy.

Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm.  A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 11:00 am, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Ayton. Rev. David Wunderlich officiating. Interment in Union Cemetery, Ayton.
