Dorothy WEILAND (nee Bos), 73 years, was called home to by her Lord on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia.  Dorothy was predeceased by her husband William in 1998.  She will be missed by her children Cathy Lynn and John Dam, Stan and Sheri Weiland, Margart Anne and Bill Sipkens, Joy and Peter Wilpstra, Bonnie and Jeff Smit, Richard and Kema Weiland, and Mel Hahn.  Cherished grandmother of John Jr. and Kristi, Jodi, Jim and Krista, Jennifer and Taylor, Lelia, Rachel, Emily, Ben, Elishia and Jason, Billy, Karisa and Ryan, LeeAnn, Stephen, Kaelynn, Katie, Kristen, Ryan, Kesha, Kassandra, Kevin, Nathaniel, Zachary, and Justin.  Dorothy will also be missed by siblings Gerrit Bos, Annie Bos, Grace and Tom Koopman, John and Coby Bos, Tinie and Henry Oosterof, and Margarethe and Steve Uyesugi.  She was predeceased by her sisters and brothers Wilma Schenk, Sylvia Blok, Ralph Bos, and Jack Bos.   Dorothy enjoyed serving her many customers at Weiland Meats and at the Sarnia Farmers Markets.  Visitors will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Covenant Christian Church, (Camlachie Rd. and London Line), Wyoming.  A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Martin Vogel.  Interment to follow in Wyoming Cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque Lambton Pregnancy Centre and Word and Deed.  Memories and condolences may be shared online at www.needhamjay.com.
