Beloved husband of the late Myrna (nee Nelson) Watson (2001). Dear father of Wendy MacDonald (Dave) of St. Thomas, Laura Snyders of London, Tammy Hegger (Henry) of Ilderton, and the late Hugh J. Watson (2003). Also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Born in St. Thomas, ON, August 4, 1926, he was the son of the late Hugh and Sarah (nee Acton) Watson. Hugh was a retired Tool and Die Maker at Clevite of Canada Limited, St. Thomas. He was a member of Lord Elgin Branch #41, Royal Canadian Legion, St. Thomas. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no public visitation. A private memorial service to celebrate Hugh’s life will be held on Wednesday, September 24th at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160). Private interment of his cremated remains will be made in Elmdale Memorial Park. Memorial donations to Parkinson Society Canada or the charity of one’s choice gratefully acknowledged.
