WASYLUK, Mrs. Anna (nee Drozdowska), of Caressant Care on Bonnie Place, formerly of Balaclava St., St. Thomas, passed away at her residence on Sunday, September 8, 2013, in her 95th year.  Wife of the late Hryhorij “Gregory” Wasyluk (1970).  Dearly loved mother of Kornel Wasyluk (Josey) of St. Thomas.  Cherished grandmother of Kim Turcotte (James Kalenuik) and loved great grandmother of Randi Turcotte (John Wilcox) and Kristi Turcotte (Steven Ferneyhough), all of St. Thomas.  Also survived by a sister, as well as many nieces and nephews in Poland.  Anna was predeceased by three sisters.  Born in Poland, March 19, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Kornel and Lena (nee Krol) Drozdowska.  Anna and her husband came to St. Thomas from Germany in 1949.  She was a member of Holy Angels’ Roman Catholic Church, St. Thomas and the Catholic Women’s League.  Relatives and friends will be received at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160) on Wednesday, September 11th from 3:00-5:00 p.m. (Prayers at 4:45 p.m.).  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Angels’ Roman Catholic Church, St. Thomas on Thursday, September 12th at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment in Holy Angels’ Cemetery.  Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or Holy Angels’ Church Restoration Fund gratefully acknowledged.
