VANDENBROERE: Simonne of Chatham and formerly of Belgium

A resident of Chatham and formerly of Belgium, Simonne Vandenbroere passed away at L.H.S.C. University Campus on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at the age of 82. Born in Belgium, Simonne is the daughter of the late Maurice and Maria Dumortier. Cherished wife of 58 years to Daniel Vandenbroere of Chatham. Dear mother of Ron and Maryanne Vandenbroere of Deal Town, Fred Vandenbroere of Chatham, and Christine and Kevin Havens of Chatham. Dear grandmother of Daniel and Jamie Vandenbroere, and Jesicca Clegg; Giorgiana and Radu Vandenbroere; and Ryan Havens. Dear great-grandmother of Maddison, Makayla, and Melanie Vandenbroere. Fondly remembered by Annette Vandenbroere. Simonne is survived by several brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws all of Belgium. Predeceased by 2 sisters of Belgium. Simonne’s love for dancing will always be remembered. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Friday from 3:00-5:00 and 7:00–9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at the Funeral Home on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
