VANDENBROEK: Casper of Dutton and formerly of St. Thomas
Vandenbroek- Casper of Dutton and formerly of St. Thomas passed away on Saturday October 27, 2012 at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital in his 77th year. Beloved husband of the late Marie Josephine (VanRyswyk) Vandenbroek (2007). Sadly missed by his children, John and Sue Vandenbroek of St. Thomas, Jane and Phil Smith of Iona Station, the late Jeff Vandenbroek (1998), and Mark Vandenbroek of St. Thomas. Loving pa of Brad, Chris and Krystle, Jennifer (Bobby Jarrell), Amanda, the late Lydia (2004), Carolyn, Kaitlan (Gerrit VanWelij), John, Abigail and Jed. Great grandpa of Maxx, Cameron, Charlotte and Emerson.Casper was born in Holland, the son of the late John and Geraldine Vandenbroek. He was a retired Pork Producer. When not helping family and friends he could be found at the Tall Tales Café in Wallacetown.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church (128 Main St., West Lorne) on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Cowal Cemetery. Visitation at Williams Funeral Home 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Donations may be made to the Dutton Lions Club or the Caledonia Gardens in Dutton.
