Mrs. Lorraine Loretta Van Damme, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Friday, February 8, 2013 at Fairfield Park in Wallaceburg at the age of  94 years.

Lorraine was born in St. Paul, Minnesota and was a daughter of the late Samuel Joseph and Mary Anne (Leaon) Anglesey.

Beloved wife of the late George R. Van Damme (1975).

Loving mother and mother-in-law of Paul and Deborah Van Damme of Toronto and Joan and Barry Stearns of Wallaceburg.

Sadly missed by her grandchildren Angie, Susie, Michael, Brian and Christopher.

Survived by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her sister Rita.

Friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Sunday, February 10, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, February 11, 2013 from Our Lady Help of Christians Church at 10:00 am with Fr. Jacek Kokosa, Celebrant.

Interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Toronto, Ontario.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation may be left at the funeral home.
