Turner 001 (161x250)Turner, John “Jack” Francis of Chateau Gardens, Aylmer and formerly of St. Thomas, passed away peacefully, at his late residence in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Margaret “Mac” (Moss) Turner and loved father of Marilynne Turner of St. Thomas. Dear brother of Lloyd Turner of London. Predeceased by 2 brothers Frank and George and by 4 sisters Mary Lawton, Grace Harris, Maude Grand and Kathleen Harris. Survived by sister-in-law Helen Seaton of London. Missed by best friend Gina Kunkel. Sadly missed by a number of nieces and nephews. Jack was born in London, Ontario on December 20th, 1919, the son of the late John and Cecilia (Wickendom) Turner. He was retired from Jaeger Machine Company. Jack served in the Navy during W.W.II. He enjoyed fishing , carpentry and the outdoors.

Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas where the funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow, with interment of ashes in Elmdale Cemetery. Visitation Sunday from 2-4 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
