Adolf “Adi” Tunkl, of Ayton, passed away at Hanover and District Hospital, Hanover on Tuesday, December 23, 2014.
He was 76.
Born in Riedlingsdorf Burganland, Austria on May 17, 1938 to the late Franz and Caroline (nee Kaible) Tunkl. Adi was self employed and enjoyed working for himself. He was an active member of the Pool League in Ayton and a former Fire Fighter in Hanover. Adi was very active in the Music field.
Survived by wife Annelene (nee Mayer) Tunkl of Ayton, children Alex Tunkl, Angela (Gary) Rouw, Andy Tunkl and good friend Gunter Becker all of Ayton, grandchildren Josh and Alexis Tunkl, Alaina and Michayla Rouw, Stephanie, Brittany, Marcus and Jayda Tunkl. He will be fondly remembered by his sisters Berta Tunkl of Hanover, Paula (Tibi) Mirtle and Helga Jrahrmann both of Austria. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his grandson Kyle Kaufman, brothers Hans and Franz and sisters Mina Kaible, Resel Bermadinger and brother in law Frank Classen.
To honor his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place after the holidays.
