Ruby Trafford, of Gorrie, formerly of Elmwood, passed away on Monday, July 01, 2013, in her 76th year.
Born in Brant Township, daughter of the late Wilbert and Lucinda (nee Wilken) Thedorff. Ruby worked with Red Cross as a Homecare provider.
Survived by sons Raymond (Kimberley) Trafford of Waterloo, Scott Trafford of Hanover and Paul Trafford of Gorrie. Also survived by sisters Doreen (Ken) Weber of Walkerton and Florence Alexander of RR 3 Hanover, sisters-in-law Verna Thedorff of Walkerton, Doris MacGregor of Scarborough and Pauline Schmidt of New Hamburg and many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her best friends her dogs Denver and Sasha. Predeceased by her husband Delbert Trafford, brother Eldred Thedorff and brothers-in-law Jim Alexander, Roy MacGregor and David Trafford.
Visitation was held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service was held on Saturday, July 06, 2013 at 11:00 am, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Brant. Pastor Hannes Aasa officiated. Cremation to follow with Inurnment in St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery, Brant Township.
