TOWLE: Harry Marvin Sr. of Fullarton

Peacefully with family by his side on Saturday, January 5, 2018 of Fullarton at the age of 78.  Harry will be greatly missed by his children Louise Jones (Roy), Janice Leslie (John), Steven (Cheryl), Harry Jr. (Cathy), Clare (Shawna), Michelle Watson (Chris), and Denise (Todd).   Loving grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.  He is survived by his sisters Marlene Towle, Marvis Allen, and his brother Glenn Towle. Predeceased by his parents Harry and Verna (Kleinfeldt) Towle. Harry was a truck driver all of his life.  He will be remembered for his love of ham radio, classic transport trucks and muscle cars, NASCAR, and country music.  A special thank you to the Exeter community, Queensway Residence, and Jessica’s House. To all those involved in making his final wish of driving to the park to hear carols and see the Christmas lights come true, we thank you.  The video was viewed around the world by over 3 million people.

The family would love for you to join them in a casual potluck setting at one of Harry’s favourite venues, The Purple Hill Country Hall, 20903 Purple Hill Rd, Thorndale on Wednesday, January 9th from 5-9 PM.  Please feel free to bring your favourite dish and memories to add to the celebration.  Haskett Funeral Home, EXETER entrusted with arrangements (519-235-1220).

In lieu of flowers, we ask donations be made to the South Huron Hospital Foundation – Jessica’s House.  Condolences may be forwarded through www.haskettfh.com.
