TOMS, Olive Ruth – (former member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #77 Lakefield) At Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Saturday, May 25, 2013.  Olive Toms of Peterborough, formerly of Lakefield in her 87th year.  Beloved wife of the late George William Toms (1997).  Dear mother of Gordon (Elizabeth) of Lakefield, Garry (Jennifer) of Peterborough, Linda (Michael) of Bobcaygeon, Sharon (Terry) of Edmonton, Alberta, Bonnie of Omemee, Kenneth (Elizabeth) of Oshawa and the late Ronnie (1968).  Loving grandmother of nine grandchildren and dear great grandmother of seven great grandchildren.  Sister of Ruby McKinney, Evelyn Garrett, Mary ,Norman, Ernie and the late Hazel Watson, Gerald, Russell.  Sister-in-law to Alvin Freeburn, Edith Edwards, Hazel Edwards and the late Stan Garrett, Donna Edwards, Buck Watson, Lisa Edwards.   Olive will be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends.  A graveside service at the Lakefield Cemetery will take place at a later date.     If desired, condolences to the family, or donations to the Michaels Way Foundation (Sick Kids Hospital) or the P.R.H.C.
