TIMONY-STRUB, Rose (Double Oval)The family announces with sorrow, her death in Sudbury, Friday May 23, 2014 at the venerable age of 90. Daughter of the late Xavier and Maria (née Giroux) Fournier. Wife of the late Joseph Strub and of the late Thomas Timony. Loving mother of Roger (Marguerite) of Wahnapitae, David (Linda) and Andrew (Barbara) both of Noëlville, Michael and Claude both of Coniston, Rachel Charette (Vernon) and June (Rhéal Langlois) both of Garson, Patrick (Estelle) of Barrie and Robert (Rae Ann) of Monetville. Predeceased by her son Thomas Jr. (Yvette of Noëlville). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by the Strub family, many relatives and friends. Predeceased by her 9 brothers and 3 sisters. Rose was very devoted to her family and her pride and joy were her 29 grandchildren and her 41 great-grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, singing and for many years was an active French River Lioness Club member. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury,   Monday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in St-John The Evangelist Church, 103 Church St., Garson. Donations, (by cheque only) to the Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated.
