Tierney, MargaretIt is with great sadness that we announce the death of a much-loved aunt.   After a brief stay in St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener, Margaret [Peggy] Tierney passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 29, 2014. Predeceased by father George Pray, mother Martha Pray, husband Jim Tierney, brother Jack Pray and wife Janet, sister Mary Irving and husband Isaac and nephew Stanley Pray.  Aunt “Pem” will be lovingly remembered by nephews Doug Irving [Sharon] of Waterloo and Don Pray [Elizabeth] of Wanstead and by niece Linda Vansickle of Sarnia.  She had a wonderful loving relationship with great nephews James Irving [Melita] of Switzerland, John Irving [Maggie] of Halifax, Matthew Pray and Mike Pray of Wanstead and great niece Lisa Pray of London. They will greatly miss her.  Margaret was a life-long member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Wyoming and took part in many volunteer church activities. She [with husband Jim] played at many community dances over the years and, after retirement, entertained at Nursing and Retirement Homes in Petrolia, Sarnia and surrounding areas.  Friends are invited to visit and share their memories of “Peggy” on Friday, September 5th from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Wyoming Chapel, 650 Broadway Street, Wyoming. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Mark Lewis officiating.
