Thomas, Malcolm Lindsay of St. Thomas, passed away suddenly, on Wednesday, September 12th, 2012, while on holidays in Wales, in his 71st year. Dearly loved husband of Myrna “Diane” (Jamieson) Thomas and much loved father of Michelle Meiller (Andre) of London, Mark Thomas (Sue) of St. Thomas, Judith Moxam (Mark) of London, Crystal Peters (Ruben) of St. Thomas and Garrett Thomas (Lynzi) of St. Thomas. Dear brother of Lynda Archer (Ron), Byron Thomas (Marilyn) and Kay Thomas Jacob (Ian), all of Wales. Sadly missed by 9 grandchildren , 2 great grandchildren , a special nephew Daniel and a number of other nieces and nephews. Malcolm was born in Carshalton, County Surrey , England on October 5th, 1941, the son of the late Arthur and Grace (Hearne) Thomas. He was retired from Fanshawe College where he was a teaching professor.

A Public Memorial service to celebrate Malcolm’s life will be held Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas. Cremation took place in Wales. Visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
