Taylor, Marilyn Joy of R.R. 5 St. Thomas, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, November 29th, 2012, surrounded by her loving family, in her 74th year. Dearly loved wife and best friend of 52 years to J. William “Bill” Taylor and loved mother of David Taylor (Pam) of Alvinston, Paul Taylor (Brenda) of Calgary, Alberta and Lynda Legg (Randy) of St. Thomas. Specially loved grandmother of Lyndze (Mason), Danielle, Ashley(Jordan), Racheal (Jason), Mitchell, Allison, Cashmere (Jay),Crystal (Richard) and great grandmother of Eithan. Dear sister of Ivan Steckle (Pat) of Goderich. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Marilyn was born in Clinton on April 3rd, 1939, the daughter of Ivan and Gertrude (McClinchy) Steckle. She worked for London Life.

Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas where funeral service to celebrate Marilyn’s life will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. Private interment in St. Thomas. Visitation at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
