After making the courageous decision to cease kidney dialysis, Eunice Taylor (Nana) spent her last days in the home she loved, surrounded by family and friends she cherished. Eunice took part in her Friday Night Dinners until her death on Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Eunice was past president and Life member of Theatre Sarnia. Always ready to throw another potato in the pot and get the spare bed ready for anyone, family or friend. A true, stiff upper lip Brit, gracious, witty and a realist to the end, she will be dearly missed by her daughters Ann Taylor-L’Heureux, Lesley Yates, and sons-in-law John L’Heureux and Chris Yates. Amazing Nana to Monica L’Heureux-Brown, Barry Brown, Christopher L’Heureux, Winona McMorrow, Sarah Murray, Norm Levesque, Michael Murray, Kendra Levesque, and Scott Haugen. Proud Great-Nana of Esme Brown and Ada Haugen. Predeceased by her husband Ed Taylor, daughter Kim Taylor-Murray, and son-in-law Joe Murray. Cremation has taken place. At Eunice’s request, there will be no visitation or service. Arrangements entrusted to SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the charity of your choice (cheques only at the funeral home please).
