SUCH,  Mrs. Muriel M. (nee Beer), of St. Thomas, ON, formerly of Goderich, passed away peacefully at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Monday, June 4, 2012, in her 89th year.  Muriel was born on March 22, 1924 in St. Thomas, and moved to Goderich in 1950 where her husband, Dr. Herbert B. “Bert” Such D.C. practiced, returning to St. Thomas upon his retirement in 1988.  Predeceased by her husband in 1993, and her brother, Donald W. Beer in 2003.  She will be dearly missed by her children, Jeffery (Anne), Bonnie Gdanski (John), Karen Cox, Kevin, Virginia Kenyon (David), and Deanna.  Ten grandchildren, one great grandson, and several nieces and nephews also survive.  Muriel had been a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, the Kinette Club, and the Royal Canadian Legion in Goderich.  Her memory will stay with all who knew and loved her.  Friends will be received by the family at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160) on Friday evening, June 8th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held Saturday, June 9th at 1:30 p.m.  Interment in Elmdale Memorial Park.  Flowers gratefully accepted.  If so desired, memorial donations to the STEGH Foundation re: Continuing Care Centre will also be appreciated.
