Sturgess, Donald Bayliss  –  February 21, 1932 – December 25, 2016  –  A child was born to Lily Bayliss and Harry Sturgess February 21, 1932 on Willard Avenue, Toronto. On Christmas day 2016 he left his manger at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie, ON with his faithful wife of 13 years Suzanne Fennell Sturgess and the furry Countess de la Tessa by his side. He leaves his daughters, Donna Sturgess Taylor, Mississauga/Bracebridge, Dale Sturgess McCreary, Philadelphia and their supportive husbands, Bob Taylor and Scott McCreary. Proud grandpa to Ashley and Bradley Taylor. Don was Master Warrant Officer, 400 Division Air Force Reserves for 44 years and ended his career at de Havilland. Cremation has taken place. A private family burial will take place when roses bloom in spring.
