StraubPassed away peacefully with her family by her side on August 12, 2014 at the age of 95 years. Beloved wife of the late George Straub, and the late first husband Phillip Loser. Loving Mother of Ottilie and Anton Schmidt, Rudy Loser and Susan Delmore, and Brigitte and Günther Wolf.  Loving Oma of Veronika, Christian (wife Brandy), Heidi, Robert, Peter (wife Cathy).  Loving Omi of Stephen, Nicholas, Kristian, Joshua, Savanah, Anthony, Nathan, Mackenzie, Benjamin, and Brandon.  Dear sister-in-law of Katharina Meindl, the late Paul Straub, the late Josef Straub, and survived by many nieces and nephews.  Maria was a long time member of St. Michaels German Catholic Church, the Church Choir, the Catholic Women’s League as well as the Teutonia Club of Windsor.  Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519 253 7234  1700 Tecumseh Rd., East on Friday, August 15, 2014 from 3-5 & 7-9 pm.  Parish prayers Friday at 3:30 p.m. and Catholic Women’s League Service at 7:30 p.m. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at St. Michael’s German Catholic Church (2153 Parkwood Ave., at Tecumseh Rd., East) for visitation from 9:30 a.m., until time of Funeral Mass to celebrate Maria’s life at 10:00 a.m.  Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
