Dorothy Buchanan – of Listowel, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Wednesday November 8, 2017 at the age of 89. Dorothy was a charter member and past president of the Atwood Lioness Club and a former member of the Donegal Women’s Institute.  She was an admirer of the Royal Family and was so proud to have met and shook the hand of Queen Elizabeth.  Dorothy enjoyed quilting, knitting, crocheting, crafting and spending time with her family.

Beloved wife of the late Elgin Buchanan who predeceased her in 1986. Loving mother of Dorene Goodyer (Jim), Doug (Diane), Marlene Lamarche (Gene), Jim (Nancy), Jeff (Nancy), Ron (Christine).  Cherished grandma of Steven (Monique), Julie (Rob), Kim (Mike), Tiffany, Dean (Valerie), Karrie (Duane), Chris, Cody (Julie), Elisha (Kayla), Brady (Samantha), Trinity, Alexandra, Brianna, Logan, Lilah and step-grandma of Jeremy (Heather).  Great grandma of Sadie, Paige, Brenden, Bradley, Brock, Brooklyn, Nolan, Reegan, Taitum, Hylinn, Parker, Bayden, Sarah, Megan, Emily, Tanner, Trent, Kaden, Kyson, Kwinten and step-great grandma of Natasha and Griffin.   Dear sister of Shirley Aitcheson and sister-in-law of Robina Alexander and Ferne Johnston.  Fondly remembered by Betty Beaman, Stephanie Beaton Lamarche and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Predeceased by her parents Melville and Ruby (Shearer) Alexander, brother Gordon and sisters Grace in infancy and Margaret.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Alice Laurine “Rene” Davey (nee Wright) on Thursday Nov. 2nd at age 90. She was the beloved wife of the late Lloyd “Dutch” Davey. Sadly missed by her children Jane (Roger) Gallaway, John (Marsha), Peter (Kathy), Marjorie (Mark) Devereaux, and Tom (Michele). Nana to Sarah (Paddy) Kennedy, David (Sarah) Gallaway, Paul (Jessica) Gallaway, Eric (Jenn) Gallaway, Natalie (Pati) Start, Maggie (Jesse) Mulveney, and Carrie Davey, Andrew Davey, Jillian (Mark) Parker, Chris (Lindsay) Davey, Ashley, Jenna, Averey, Aaron Devereaux, and Eamon and Patrick Davey. She is the Great-Nana to Eoin, Joyce, George, Fiona, Oscar, Edgar, Coralee, Everly, Reese, Nico, Levi, Pearl, Gracie, Leigh, Alison, Liam, Lola, and Millie. Rene will also be missed by her sister Ella May (George) Canning, Jean (Ron) Day, and sister-in-law Patricia (Den) Davey. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Laura and Dale Wright, and brother Jack. The family would like to give a great thanks to the girls at Roeswood Manor and Bayshore for their love and support. Cremation has taken place and friends may visit with the family at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St., Sarnia) on Friday November 17th between the hours of 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and one hour prior to service time.  A memorial service will be held at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 102 N. Victoria St., Sarnia will be held on Saturday November 18th at 11:00 a.m.

Edward (Ted) Howard, loving husband of the late Wilma (Dyer) both of Toronto, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2017 at Victoria Manor in Lindsay, Ontario. Ted had an enormous love of family. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and tennis, had a keen interest in history and was an avid reader. Ted lived life to the fullest, making a positive impact on everyone in his life. Intelligence, determination and a wonderful sense of humour were his gifts which he used generously to touch everyone’s hearts. He will be missed. Loving father of Terry (the late Bonnie nee Thornhill), Rachel (Michael B.) and Lisa (Michael F.) and the late Maureen. Special grandpa of Kent, Daphne, Tracey, Erin, Mikaela and Melissa. Lovingly remembered by his great grandchildren Zachary, Cassandra and Kallista; Thomas and Daniel; Rayden and Declan. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Eileen (Palliser) Howard, and his brother Todd. Fondly remembered by niece Jean and nephew Alan and their families. THOMPSON, G. Rae formerly of Atwood

Thompson, G. Rae – formerly of Atwood, passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Wednesday November 1, 2017 at the age of 81. Rae was an associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion Listowel Branch 259.  In his younger years, he enjoyed playing goalie for his hockey teams, baseball and crokinole.

Father of Ross Thompson of Rosseau and grandfather of Ashly Thompson.  Brother of Pauline Price and partner Jene Krop of Victoria BC.  Fondly remembered by his special friend Joyce Raycraft of Atwood and her family, the extended Graul family and Ed Price.

Predeceased by his wife Janet (Graul) Thompson (1997) and his parents Oscar and Elsie (Marks) Thompson.

DARROCH, Robert of Atwood

Robert Darroch – of Atwood, passed away on Saturday October 28, 2017 at the age of 64.

Beloved son of Howard Darroch and the late Myrta (Buchanan) Darroch.  Dear brother of Dianne Lichti (Paul) and Michael Darroch (Theresa).  Special uncle of Chad (Heather), Christopher, Matthew (Sarah), Alexander, Melissa, Scott and great uncle of Bennett, Cora and Colton.  Fondly remembered by his aunts, uncles and cousins.

During his life, Bobby developed deep connections with his friends within the Atwood/Listowel community. He valued these friendships very much and enjoyed the kinship provided by them. They provided a “social family” for him that coexisted with his biological family roots. Being a creature of routine, Bobby would visit his comrades daily at Ralph’s Service Centre in Atwood and he was a proud member the Listowel Legion. It is certain that his banter and big laugh will be missed in many of the local meeting places where he was often found with a beer, a pool cue or a dart, happily engaged in a friendly, or sometimes very competitive game. Bobby enjoyed gadgets and technology. He was proud of his cars. He had a soft heart for his niece and nephews. He lived life freely and independently. He will be deeply missed by all who love him.

NAYLOR, William (Bill) of RR3 Monkton

William (Bill) Naylor – of RR3 Monkton, passed away peacefully on Thursday October 19, 2017 at the age of 90, two days after his beloved wife Ruby passed away. Bill was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church Monkton where he served as Clerk of Session for over 20 years.  He enjoyed quilting for missions and charities, woodworking, playing cards with friends from Monkton, had a keen interest in forestry and was always trying new farming techniques.  Bill was also a former caretaker of North Logan Cemetery.

Loving father of Ernie (Leslie), Beth Sorensen (Tom), Ken (Angela) and Jerry.  Special grandpa of Josh, Daniel, Ben, Dana, Alexander and William.   Fondly remembered by sister-in-law Muriel Gottfried and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents Ernest and Ella (Dewar) Naylor and twin brothers Roy and Waldron in infancy.

Kenneth Engel – formerly of Monkton, passed away peacefully at Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton on Friday October 20, 2017 at the age of 84. Ken was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Monkton.  He enjoyed hunting and playing cards with his Monkton friends.

Dear brother of Shirley Boyd (William), Ross, and Betty Capling (Garry).  Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews Randy (Val), Patti (Don), Rick (Marion), Chris (Amber), Greg (Stephanie) and Kristan (Shawna).

Mildred Acheson – passed away peacefully at Stratford General Hospital on Tuesday October 17, 2017. She was born 87 years ago, a daughter of the late Percy and Elsie Annett.  She resided in Stratford and formerly farmed at RR2 Atwood, near Donegal with her beloved husband Jim who predeceased her in 2003.

Loving mother of Elaine and Kirk Riehl, Marilyn and Paul Clements and Janette and Warren Morrison. Special grandma of Keith and Andrea, Craig, Michael and Tanya, Jason and Jaci, James, Carly and great-grandma of Dannika and Mikaela.  Dear sister of Alice Vine.  Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Ruby Naylor – of RR3, Monkton, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Tuesday October 17, 2017 at the age of 75. Ruby was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Monkton where she was the church organist for many years.  She enjoyed quilting for missions and charities where she developed many close friendships.  Ruby enjoyed her life on the farm, spending time walking, caring for her cats, but most of all cherished time spent with her family.

Beloved wife of William (Bill) Naylor whom she married in 1965.  Loving mother of Ernie (Leslie), Beth Sorensen (Tom), Ken (Angela) and Jerry. Special grandma of Josh, Daniel, Ben, Dana, Alexander and William.  Sister of Muriel Gottfried.  Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Alex and Hilda (Krotz) Wolfe, her sister Gertrude and husband Robert Brisbin, brother Harold and brother-in-law Andrew Gottfried.

LEIS, Marie of New Hamburg

LEIS, Marie (Erb) 1921-2017 – died at Nithview Community on Monday October 16, 2017 of age related illness. Born in Wellesley Township to Joseph R. and Mary (Nafziger) Erb.  She was a life partner in dairy farming with her late husband Gordon (1982) in Perth County where they raised their family, Glennis (Mark Yantzi), James (Rosella Gerber), Murray (Marilyn Roes), Merlin (Angela Kindler), Paul (Charlene Martin) and Gloria (Dale Freeman).  She will be missed by grandchildren Michael Yantzi (Marsha Taylor), James Yantzi, Rebecca Minor (Patrick), Shannon Leis, Maria Leis, David Leis, Scott Leis (Nicole) Victoria Leis (Alex), Erin Freeman, Alexander Freeman (Racheal), Nickolas Freeman (Kristen) and great grandchildren Laine, Lexi, Liam, Gracelyn May, Noa and Amos.  Also surviving are brother-in-law and sister-in-law Omer and Erma Leis and many nieces and nephews.  She was the last surviving member of her family being predeceased by her sister Frieda (John G. Erb), and brothers Ervin (Erma, Mary Gingerich) and Joe (Mabel).  Also predeceased by in-laws Leroy and Vera Leis and Marion Bender Leis.

Marie had an amazing capacity to remember names and faces of those she met throughout her lifetime even in these later years with dementia. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, quilting and for some years worked as a Red Cross Homemaker.

A special thanks to the staff at Nithview Community for their care and compassion shown to our mother in these later years.

Marie was a lifelong member of Maple View Mennonite Church in Wellesley Township where a private family burial will take place in the adjoining cemetery.   Memorial visitation will be held at Maple View Mennonite Church, 5074 Deborah Glaister Line on Saturday October 28 from 2 to 5 p.m. where the memorial service will be held on Sunday October 29, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Brent Kipfer officiating.

Russell Wilbert Purdon, a resident of Caressant Care, Harriston and formerly of Pike Lake and Whitechurch, passed away at Louise Marshall Hospital in Mount Forest on Thursday, October 12th, 2017 in his 93rd year.

Beloved husband of the late Violet Purdon (née Scott) (Penner) who predeceased him on November 10th, 2012.

Dear father of Bryan and Jan Purdon of Goderich, Milton and Diane Purdon of Alberta, Thelma Dougherty of B.C. and Linda and Dennis Coghlin of R. R. #2 Listowel.

Missed by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister Olive Zinn of Wingham, and brother Kenneth Purdon of Dorchester.

Fondly remembered by his first wife Joan, several nieces and nephews and extended family members.

Predeceased by his parents, John and Annie (née Bolt) Purdon, step-daughter Carol Penner, brother Clifford, sisters Verna and Reta, brother-in-law Ken and sister-in-law Rhea.

Joe Dittmer – formerly of RR3 Listowel, passed away peacefully at Hillside Manor, Sebringville on Sunday October 8, 2017 at the age of 88.

Beloved husband of the late Shirley (Hird) Dittmer who predeceased him in 2003.  Father of Donald Dittmer and grandfather of Nancy Dittmer-Gulikers, Ken, Allan, Bill and Craig Dittmer.  Great grandfather of Aiden, Cole, Aubrey, Reid and Logan.  Brother of Laura Middleton, Vera McMillan, Lillian Siemon and Charles Dittmer.

Predeceased by his parents Frederick and Clara (Schwindt) Dittmer, sisters Bertha Weir, Frieda McAdams, Doris Dittmer and brothers Louis and William.

Broughton, William (Bill) – of Listowel, formerly of Atwood, passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Tuesday October 3, 2017 at the age of 94. Bill was a member of Atwood United Church and a former member of the Atwood Lions Club.  He was a true farmer but always found time for golfing, playing and coaching hockey, playing baseball and hunting.  Bill enjoyed playing cards at the Men’s Club of Atwood.

Beloved husband of the late Betty (Rock) Broughton who predeceased him in 2005.  Loving father of Debbie Wilson (Frank), Richard (Bev), Robert, Greg (Diana) and Tom (Tammy).  Special grandpa of Trevor, Amy (Andrew), Todd, Jamie (Kyla), Laurie (Wayne), Brad (Chelsea), Taylor, Nicole and great grandpa of Abbigayle, Aiden, Leah and Jake.  Fondly remembered by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Gwen and George Barrie, Joanne and Doug Aitchison, Iris Rock, Karl Campbell and by many nieces and nephews.

Bill was the last surviving member of his family being predeceased by his parents Jim and Lou (Coulter) Broughton, brother Jack (Mary), sisters Dorothy Lannin (Fergus), Laurene Corriveau (Paul) and Annie Primrose (Gerald).

Berdella Corinne Kieffer

February 23, 1924 to August 29, 2017

Mom passed away on Tuesday, August 29, with the grace and dignity she has shown all of her life. She was so happy knowing that her five children were surrounding her with love. We know that our dad, George Michael Kieffer, has been waiting for her to join him for almost twenty years, since November, 1997.  And ready to hold her hand since February, 2014 is her grandson, Jordan Ross Strickland.

She is so cherished by her children: Kevin Kieffer and Brenda Leahy, Janice and Paul Strickland, JoAnn and John Kennedy, Marilyn Kieffer and Wayne Evans, and Allan Kieffer. She was so proud of each of her grand and great grandchildren:  Kellen and Rachel, Liam and Ben Kieffer: Leah, Dave and Lila Allen; Colleen and Phil Kerneghan; Daniel Strickland; Michael and Patrick Kennedy; Matt and Jake Evans.

She will be missed by her sister Marjorie Schmalz, sisters- in-law Margaret Durrer, Kay Durrer and Virginia Kieffer, brother-in-law Don Fortune, and many nieces and nephews.

Mom married George Michael Kieffer on June 9, 1949. Together they worked alongside each other in their dairy operation, while raising five children. Although mom and dad did not have the same opportunities, for their children they encouraged, supported and instilled the life-long values of family and friendship, education, music, sports, work, travel, and giving back to your community. Mom exemplified this through her leadership in the CWL, Belmore Seniors Group, 4-H Homemaking, Belmore Curling Club, Director of Teeswater Fair, Belmore Women’s Institute, and the Belmore Happy Group.

After dad passed away, mom moved to the Bellehaven Apartments in Belmore.

She couldn’t have had a better place to thrive for the last twenty years. There was always someone knocking at her door to play cards, quilt, share Monday morning coffee, watch some curling or a ball game, go for a walk, out for lunch, a play or concert, or just sit on the front porch and chat. She had frequent visits from many neighbours and friends of all ages who loved to spend time with mom, which was especially important to her when it became more difficult for her to participate.  Mom and all of us knew we had several special people to call to check in on her, and that she was safe. We are so grateful for mom’s full life and would all aspire to be so fortunate.  We are especially thankful for Dr. Marie Gear, mom’s family doctor for over 30 years who shared our wish and supported us to keep mom in her own apartment.

Visitation will be held at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater on Friday, September 8th from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Teeswater on Saturday, September 9th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., with Father Keith Morrison as celebrant.

Interment Sacred Heart Cemetery, followed by a celebration of Mom’s life at the Belmore Community Centre from 12:30 to 6:00 p.m.

Mom loved flowers, but we also know that she would really appreciate instead if donations were made to Jordan Strickland Family Endowment at the YMCA of Western Ontario, Wingham and District Hospital Foundation, Belmore Chamber of Commerce or Sacred Heart Church Building Fund, Teeswater.

Our loss is immeasurable, but so is the love left behind.

CRAIG, Nola of Petrolia

CRAIG, NOLA – It is with sadness that we announce the passing, on Monday, August 28, 2017, of Nola Annabel (Taylor) Craig, age 96.  Nola was the loving wife of the late Earl Gordon Craig (1999) and amazing Mom to Brad (Annette) of Coquitlam, B.C. and Janet Young (Barry) of Petrolia.  She will be missed by her grandchildren Cheryl and Michael (Anita) and great grandchildren Nathan, Brandon and Nikolina in B.C.  Mom will be fondly remembered by family in the Goderich, Clinton and Blyth area.  We would like to say a very heartfelt thank you to the wonderful people at Fiddick’s Nursing Home in Petrolia who took care of Mom with such compassion, kindness and love. Lloyd McLaughlin – formerly of Listowel, passed away peacefully at Huronlea Home for the Aged, Brussels on Wednesday August 23, 2017 at the age of 87. Lloyd enjoyed spending time with his family at the cottage and fixing old cars.

Beloved husband of Marg (Bell) McLaughlin with whom he celebrated 65 years of marriage on August 9th.  Loving father of Ron and Lois and Randy and Wendy. Special grandpa of Trisha and Clint, Curtis and Sandi, Ryan, Becky, and Drew.  Poppa of Reed, Jesa, Jaxon, Camdyn, Destiny, Madison, Parker and Violet.  Brother of Harold McLaughlin. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents Clarence and Edith (Moore) McLaughlin, granddaughter Rhonda Lee in infancy, sister Elva Michel, brother-in-law Clair Michel and sister-in-law Jean McLaughlin.

Leslie James “Les” Longmire of Teeswater, passed away suddenly at Wingham & District Hospital on Saturday, August 19th, 2017, at the age of 59.

Beloved husband of Rosemarie “Rose” Longmire (née Nielissen).

Dorothy Isabel MacKenzie (née Graham) of Listowel and formerly of Culross Township, passed away peacefully at home, with family by her side on Wednesday, August 16th, 2017 in her 99th year.

Beloved wife of the late Brock MacKenzie (1957).

Dear mother of John MacKenzie (Carol) of Kitchener, Dorla Cassidy (Graeme) of Teeswater, Rennae Taylor (Malcolm) of Auckland, New Zealand, Allan MacKenzie (Heather) of Windsor and Mary Kay MacKenzie of Listowel.

Missed by her 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was the last surviving member of her family being predeceased by her parents Angus and Betsy (née McMurchy) Graham, brothers Rennie Graham and Allan Graham (Elsie) and sisters, Margaret McInnes (Gordon), Mary Snowe (James), Anna Robinson (Hawkes) and Jean Lowndes (John).

Visitation will be held at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater on Saturday, August 19th, 2017 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Harvey Clarke – of Atwood passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Monday August 14, 2017 at the age of 83. Harvey was a former 4H leader and square dance caller.  He enjoyed coaching hockey and square dancing.

Beloved husband of Marg (Conley) Clarke whom he married in 1958.  Loving father of Shirley and Alan Baker and their children Thomas (Nicole), Sara (Brian), Emily (Cody), and Isaac (Tasha); Murray and Sharon Clarke and their children Torie (Derek), Alanis (Ryan) and Austin; Brian Clarke and Jackie Birk; Tracy Courtney and her children Jillian (Graeme), Scott (Jess) and Tina; Paul and Tanya Clarke and their children Travis, Matthew and Samuel.  Special Great Gramps of Bexlie.  Brother of Vivien Laidlaw, Cecil Clarke (Barb), Ruth Kirkpatrick, Linda Clark.  Fondly remembered by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Wilma and Doug Rathwell, Doug and Virginia Conley, many nieces and nephews and Dave Courtney.

Roberta Rocher – passed away peacefully at her residence in Caressant Care Nursing Home, Listowel on Tuesday June 13, 2017 at the age of 89.

Beloved wife of the late Calvin Rocher who predeceased her in 1992.  Step-mother of Barb Argue, and Ross and Nora Rocher.  Step-grandmother of Scott, Catherine and their families.  Dear sister of Elma Cooke.  Fondly remembered by Lenore Moser and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Henry and Ellen (Woods) Dale, sister Catherine and brother Carl.

STEWART (LORD) – Mary Teresa (nee Belcher) of Mount Hope Long Term Care of St Joseph’s Health Care London and formerly of Gladstone, Crediton and St. Thomas, passed away peacefully at her late residence on Tuesday May 23rd, 2017 in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Charles Lord and the late Rev James Stewart. Dearly loved mother of Anne Uhlmann (Peter) of Dutton, Theresa Forsey (Robert) of Newfoundland, Susan Jewczy of Waterloo, Christopher Lord (Sam) of St Thomas, Richard (Dick) Lord (Deb) of Crediton, Philip Lord (Connie) of Birmingham, England and Andrew Lord (Harriet) of Greenville SC. Cherished grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her siblings, Alice Louwry, Harriet (Jewy) Kingsnorth, Charles Belcher, twin Marian Crosby, Rose Greig and Patricia Lord. Mary was born in England on December 6, 1922, daughter of the late Charles and Alice (Fields) Belcher. Mary served during World War II with the British Airforce before starting her own family, raising 4 children born in England, then immigrating to Canada to add another 3 children. Mary was a former member of Gladstone Baptist, Emmanuel Baptist of Exeter and then Eastwood Baptist of St Thomas. Funeral services to celebrate Mary’s life were held at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, St. Thomas at 1:00pm on Saturday May 27th, 2017. Private interment in Dorchester Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations requested by Mary to Eastwood Baptist Church of St Thomas or the Canadian Bible Society. A Memorial Celebration of Life will be announced for a later date.

Rodgers (1998).  Dearly loved mother of Glenn Rodgers (Colleen), Stan Rodgers (late Jacqueline), all of R.R.#1, Port Stanley, and Sharon Burgess (Carl) of London.  Cherished grandmother of Jeremy Rodgers (Patricia) of R.R.#1, Port Stanley, David Rodgers (Wendy) of Toronto, Eric Rodgers (Simone) of St. Thomas, Melissa Bainbridge (Steve) of Wallacetown, Sandra Latour (Phil) of Noelville, and Carrie Bubel (Jason) of Fingal.  Proud great grandmother of Emma, Owen, Nolan, Joel, Blake, Tyler, Kyle, Reese, Linkin, Devon, Sophia, Isabel, and Caroline.  Dear sister of Helen Bagg of Stratford, late Vera Hardman, late Myles Charlton, late Gertrude Rolling, and the late Pearl Matthews. Betty was a member of the Boxall Women’s Institute, and a former volunteer at the Elgin County Museum.  Relatives and friends will be received by the family at the SIFTON FUNERAL HOME, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160) on Monday, May 29th from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 30th at 11:00 a.m.  Interment in Union Cemetery. KRUGEL, Marion of Listowel

Marion Krugel – of Listowel passed away surrounded by the love of her family at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Saturday April 29, 2017 at the age of 76. Marion was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church where she had volunteered her time in various roles.  She volunteered with the Canadian Cancer Society, North Perth Hospice and the VON as a former leader of the exercise program in Listowel and Monkton.  Marion enjoyed travelling, loved the outdoors, gardening, painting and photography.

Fondly remembered by her siblings Rose Marie Wright (Burlington), Verna (Alfred) Young (Mitchell) and John Krugel (Listowel).  Dearly missed by her special nephew Bill (Cheryl) Young, great nephew Lucas, great nieces Anita and Catharine Young all of Monkton and loving Aunt Marjorie Kaufman (Listowel).  Also survived by her nieces Sandra (Vic) Farrow, Darlene Kosonic, Joanne Young, Yvonne Yarker, Carol Young and great nieces and nephews Donald, Julia, Stephon, Jeremy and Rebecca.

Predeceased by her parents John and Dorothy (Illman) Krugel and brother-in-law Ron Wright.

In keeping with Marion’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  Visitation will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Listowel on Saturday May 6, 2017 from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. followed by the memorial service to celebrate her life at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ralph Dwarika officiating.  Entombment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
