edstrom0002Died peacefully on Tuesday December  10, 2013 at home in his 79th year.  Al of Wasaga Beach, beloved husband of the late Ruth.  Loving father of Madonna (Bob Watson), Harry (Brenda), Joan (Joe Freeman), Albert Jr. (Suzanne) and Millicent Edstrom.  Dear grandfather of Amanda, Bobby, Jennifer, Celina, James, Crystal, Ashley and Holly and great grandfather of Mia, Bella, Stella, Ashlynn and Tyson.  Survived by sister Bridie McGrath and brothers Mike and Pat McGrath.  Predeceased by brothers Joe Hurdle and Bill, Ed and Leo McGrath.  Al will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews and extended family throughout Ontario and Newfoundland.  A ceremony will be held in the summer of 2014.  Arrangements under the direction of the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Wasaga Beach Chapel. Suddenly at Kingston General Hospital, on Thursday, October 17, 2013. Bill Jackson of Battersea in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of June Moore.  Dear father of Carl Pretty of Newfoundland, Darryl Pretty of Battersea, Julie Jackson (Brent Nontell) of Elgin, Jill Jackson (Jeff) of Battersea.  Dear brother of Margaret Campbell of Lyndhurst, Robert Jackson of Battersea. Predeceased by sister, Freda McCullough.  Fondly remembered by grandchildren, Bill, Jake, George, Victoria, David, Jackson, Montanna and Kayla. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the SCOTLAND FUNERAL HOME, 27 Main Street, Elgin on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral Service in Our Chapel on Monday afternoon at 1 o’clock. Craig, Beulah (Temp) Pic-W150Peacefully after a brief illness, surrounded by the love of her family at LHSC-University Hospital, London on Sunday, October 6th  2013 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert (Bob) Craig (July 13, 2013) for 67 years. Loving mother of Carolyn and Bill Ideson of Arva, Vera and Don Henderson of Ilderton and Jeff and Martha Craig of High River, AB.  Loved by her grandchildren Bob and Katharine; Kristy and Mike, Brad and Amy, Greg and Morgan, Jenna and Chris; Jillian and John, Gwen and Dan and great-grandchildren Taylor, Emily, Owen, Kyle, Rachael, Colin, Megan, Lucas, Jordyn, Elizabeth and Malcolm.  Dear sister of Glenys Wells of Newfoundland. Sister-in-law of Ila Worsell of Goderich and Betty Cox of Clinton. Beulah will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother Fred Stryde, sisters-in-law Sadie Stryde, Dorothy Strasser and  Layne Craig and brothers-in-law Bill and Allen Craig, Stan Strasser and Harry Worsell.

CHAPUT, Anna Irene (née Damphousse) of Comber

87 years, of RR 2, Comber, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.  Beloved wife of 62 years to the late Adelord Chaput (2009).  She will be sadly missed by her three children;  Ernest (Bev) Chaput of Tilbury, Diane Gardiner of Merlin, Robert (Rosemary) of Tilbury; and her sister Theresa (Joe(2005)) Laliberte; and sister-in-law Rita (Don) Pare of Tilbury.  She will be greatly missed by her 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  Predeceased by parents Hermidas and Marie Louise (nee Roi) Damphousse-Bellemore; brothers Louis (Hazel) Damphouse, Vincent Damphousse; son-in-law Wayne Gardiner (1985); and daughter-in-law Diane Chaput (2008).  Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews.  Anna was blessed with many generations of friends and neighbours and she will be remembered for her gentle kindness.  Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home, 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Friday.  Funeral service at the funeral home Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 10:30 a.m.  Interment at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
