77 years, passed away suddenly on Tuesday April 10, 2012 at Leamington Hospital. Beloved husband and best friend of Lorraine (Gagnier) for 60 years. Dear father of Larry Stiers (Therese), Dan Stiers (Theresa), Tim Stiers (Barb), Linda Webb (Dale), Mark Stiers (Jo-Anne), Ruth Ann Kfrerer. Loving grandfather of Matthew and Marissa Stiers, Jim and Melissa Szymanski, Sarah and Matt Warnke, Adam and Ella Stiers, Andrea and Derek Graansma, Emily and John LiCausi, Jason Stiers, Kyle and Hannah Stiers, Joshua Webb, Mitch Stiers and fiancé’ Jen Hang, Maegan Stiers, Kelly Ann Stiers, Abbey Stiers, Jeff Kfrerer, Mackenzie Stiers, Marisa Kfrerer, Lauren Stiers, Morgan Webb, Emma Stiers, Nikole Kfrerer. Predeceased by grandsons Geoffrey and Joey. Great grandfather of James, Luke, Taylor Paige, Brooke and Audrina. Dear son of the late Ray and Loretta Stiers and son-in-law of the late Wilfred and Melina Gagnier. Dear brother of Maryann Reaume (the late Art), Joan Kuzniak (the late John), Carol Kuzniak (Ted), Arnold Stiers (Joan), the late Vern Stiers (Shirley). Dear brother-in-law of Pauline Ouellette (Albert), Madeline Gagnon (the late Oscar), Wilfred Gagnier (Ruth), the late Corrine and Eddy Diotte and the late Omer and Leona Gagnier. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive. Ken was a member of Essex Knights of Columbus Council #3305 and retired from the Ford Motor Company in 1997 after 43 years of dedicated service. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 87 Maidstone Avenue East Essex (519-776-4233) on Thursday 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Friday April 13, 2012 at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 146 Talbot Street South Essex, from noon until time of Funeral Mass to celebrate Ken’s life at 1 p.m. Fr.
