Robyn Louise Stephen of Chesley, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Chesley on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 in her 42nd year.
Robyn was born May 26, 1973 in York and grew up in Bolton. She married the love of her life, Ron in 1995 and together they nurtured and cared for their three daughters, Caylin, Grayce and Lauryn and her four legged companion Daisy. Robyn lived life to the fullest and enjoyed scrapbooking, shopping, gardening and skiing. She enjoyed rides on her motorcycle and was quite athletic, having participated in the Walk of Hope just this past year. Cherished sister of Lyndsay (Robin) Johnson and family and Paul (Kendra) Martindale. Robyn will be fondly remembered by the Stephen family and sadly missed by Aunt Donna Graham, Stephen and Pat Brown and their families as well as her extended family and many friends. Robyn was predeceased by her mother Karen Lisk.
Visitation will be held at Rhody Family Funeral Home, Chesley on Monday from 5–9 p.m. A memorial service celebrating Robyn’s life will be held at St. John’s United Church, Chesley on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at 1 p.m.
Memorial donations can be made to a trust fund set up in the girls’ names (cheque payable to “In trust for Caylin, Grayce and Lauryn Stephen”) or Chesley Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
