Catherine Stahlmann, of Hanover, passed away at Grey-Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Saturday, December 28, 2013, in her 84th year.
Born on May 28,1930 in Alyth Scotland to the late George and Jessie (nee Slavin) Dewar. Catherine worked with Red Cross doing Home Care until her retirement.
Survived by children Karin (Randy) McCallum of Hanover, Linda (Peter) Moise of Brampton, Doreen (Barry) Clark of Crawford, Robert (Yvonne) Stahlmann of Barrie, grandchildren Angela, Diana, Sandra, Jennifer, Barry, Robert, Andrew, Sydney and Clark, greatgrandchildren William, Shae Lynn, Wyatt, Kinley, Nicholas, Brandon, Lilianna, Charlotte and Paisley. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Ernst Stahlmann, brother Jim (Betty) Dewar.
Visitation was held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 11:00 am, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Brant. Rev. Hannes Aasa officiated.
Interment in St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery, Brant Township.
