Bonnie Stacpoole photo (186x250)STACPOOLE, Margaret Ellen (BONNIE) peacefully died at her Queen Street home Friday, February 14th, 2014. She was predeceased by her parents, Norman and Edna Kirk and her brother, David Kirk.  Bonnie is survived by her husband of forty eight years, Tony, three awesome daughters and their husbands Krista (John), Andra (Kelly) and Rebecca (Tom) and six grandchildren, Olivia and Teaghan Arnold, Laken and Kirk Tucker and Kai and Phoebe Lewis. She is also survived by her two brothers, Doug and Bob (Joan), brother-in-law Warren, sisters-in-law Margot White (Ray) and Connie McLennan (Ken).  Those Kirk yearly picnic reunions happily brought together dozens of nieces and nephews.  Bonnie was an assertive and active woman.  She worked for T.D. bank, Clark Equipment and VME as payroll supervisor, and at Knox Presbyterian Church as secretary-treasurer.  She was a long-time member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority and the Knox Evening Circle.  Bonnie had a wide range of interests and talents– bowler, rug hooker, knitter, sewer, crocheter, avid reader, performing arts supporter.  She will be sadly missed by those that loved her and those that knew her.

The funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Hincks St., St. Thomas  on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. Visitation at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas on Tuesday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. by Officers and Members of the Beta Sigma Phi. Remembrances may be made to the Knox Memorial Fund, Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada or charity of choice.
