 St Pierre Alban

Of Orléans, formerly of Marionville, has left us peacefully for a better world, on April 28, 2014 at the age of 94. Alban was the beloved husband for 63 years of the late Anita Matte. He leaves his 5 children, 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, Lise, Nicole, Gaëtan (Christiane Blais; Sophie), Michel (Sadiqua; Fatimah (Mustafa; Samir), Umar (Eman), Maryam (Yusif), Aeshah (Aamar), Soumayyah) and Guy (Sylvie Fortier; Xavier, Cédric, Tristan). He also leaves his brothers, Percy (Margaret Lovering), Rodolphe (Rita DesRosiers), Ovide (Cécile Bisson) as well as sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Maria (Houle) St-Pierre, Rachelle Grégoire and Richard Matte (Marie Bisson). Alban is predeceased by his parents,  Victoria Boudreau and Hormidas St-Pierre, his sisters; Florence (Eli Gervais), Yvonne (Fraser Hogle), Mary (Gerry Polischuck), Cécile (Raymond Larocque), Marie-Jeanne (Georges Brûlé) his brother Laurent and brother-in-law Royal Grégoire. Funeral Mass in celebration of his life will be held at Ste-Thérèse d’Avila Church, Marionville, on Monday, May 12, 2014 at 11 am. The family will be present at 10:15 am to receive condolences. The family wishes that you remember him as a man of faith, who loved his family, family gatherings, bowling, golf and card games. A special thanks to the staff of the Résidence St-Louis for the great care given to Alban. He gave us happiness and joy. He will be in our thoughts and our lives will be forever filled with his great values. It is only a goodbye until we are reunited again.
