Mary Agnes Smith of Sarnia passed peacefully surrounded by her family at St. Joseph’s Hospice on August 28, 2012. Mary is predeceased by husband Jack, father Wesley, mother Marion, and brother Howard (Margaret). Survived by children John (Debbie), Kevin (Linda), and Shelley (Campbell), grandchildren Brittany, Jordan, Michael, Tyler, Matthew, sister Jean (Ernie), brother-in-law Neil (Elizabeth) and many nieces and nephews. Born in Forest, Ontario on November 18, 1934, Mary retired from St. Josephs Hospital in 1993 after 25 years of service. Mary lived her life with grace and dignity. Her passions were her family; and her grandchildren were a great source of pride to her. She loved travelling, being outdoors, bowling and yoga. Mary was an active volunteer in the Sarnia/Lambton community. She was known as a happy, positive person who always had a smile for everyone. One of her favourite past-times was to sit on her balcony enjoying a big “grandma sized” glass of wine. The family wishes to thank the 4th floor nurses at Bluewather Health and the wonderful staff at St. Josephs Hospice. Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Joseph’s Hospice (www.stjosephshospice.ca).  Arrangements entrusted to the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 102 N.
