November 19, 1919 – October 30, 2012

Annie Elizabeth (Drudge) passed peacefully, into the presence of Jesus, with family at her bedside, at Trintiy Village Care Centre, Kitchener. Predeceased by her husband Gordon Clinton Smith in 1959, parents Menno & Emma Drudge, brothers Fred (Anna), Albert (Annie), and Walter (Mildred), and brother- in –law Joe Nighswander. Survived by brother Norman (Mary) Drudge, sister Elsie Nighswander and four children: Murray (Gale) of Elmira, Beverley of Wasaga Beach, Carol (Rev. Bill) Anderson of Kitchener and Herb of Kitchener. Loving Grandmother to Greg (Jo-Anne) Smith, Scott (Deanna) Smith, Julianne (Jens) Frandsen, Stephen (Rebekah) Dyce, Brian (Christy) Dyce, Wayne (Amanda) Dyce, Trevor (Anne) Anderson, and Philip (Sarah) Anderson.  Special Great Grandma to Owen & Madeline, Caitlyn & Karsten, Evan, Emma, Simon & Kinsley, Alyson, Jacob & Timothy, Emily, Jaxon & William and Nate. Anne will be remembered for her quiet, gentle spirit and her gift of hospitality. She loved sewing, gardening and was involved with the Stayner Horticultural Society. She was an active and faithful member at Stayner Evangelical Missionary Church for many years. She loved the Lord and lived her faith.  Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Friday November 2, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.   Service to remember Anne will be held on Saturday November 3, 2012 at the Stayner Evangelical Missionary Church, 202 Ontario Street, Stayner at 1 o’clock, with visitation from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Interment Ebenezer Cemetery.
