MYRNA JEANNETTE SINCLAIR (nee BROWN)
Passed away peacefully on May 6, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Bob. Dear mother of Heather (Richard Wilson) and David. Loving grandmother of Lindsey, Julia, Stephanie and Matthew. Sister to Allan (Betty), Murray (Una), Donna (Rino), and the late Gwen (Hap). Sister-in-law to Bruce (Catherine). Myrna will be sadly missed by many friends and relatives. She was born on the family farm in Dalston and attended Barrie Collegiate High School. Her career as a teacher included periods with the North York and Sarnia School Boards, Myrna enjoyed retirement years in the Green Briar community, especially playing golf and bridge. The cottage on Horseshoe Lake was a special place and she loved to entertain. Travel and skiing were her passions, along with contact with her grandchildren. Myrna received caring support from neighbours, PSW’s and lifelong friends during the final months We are also grateful for the medical skills of doctors and nursing care in various hospitals. She will never be forgotten. A celebration service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 1 pm, at St. John’s United Church, 56 Victoria St. E., Alliston. In lieu of flowers donations to Princess Margaret Hospital, or Stevenson Memorial Hospital (Alliston) would be appreciated.
