#FFK-Fight For Kevin

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kevin one week shy of his 15th birthday, after a brief but courageous battle with Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. His memory will forever be cherished by his parents Joe & Tamara and his three older siblings Brooke, Brett and Mackenzie. Kevin will be joining Grandpa Sid in heaven. Beloved grandson of Nellie Siddall, Dr. Al & Twyla Warwaruk. He will be greatly missed by his numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Kevin was a gifted student-athlete.  His loss will be felt by the sporting community, especially the Windsor Stars Baseball Organization and Windsor Minor Hockey Association.  He was blessed with teachers and coaches at Christ the King Elementary school who nurtured his development in the classroom and in sports.  Even though he was unable to physically attend class, the Holy Names High school community acknowledged and embraced Kevin as an active student. Special thanks to the staff at LHSC for sharing in our journey. At the family’s request, in lieu of flowers, please consider donations to ChildCan, The Ronald McDonald House of Southwestern Ontario or Lymphoma Canada in Kevin’s memory. Visitation Thursday 2-5pm & 7-9pm and Friday 2-5pm & 7-9pm at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor 519-969-5841.  Celebration mass Saturday 10:30am at Corpus Christi Church (1400 Cabana Rd. W.) Cremation to follow. Share memories, photos or make a donation at www.FamiliesFirst.ca
