The family announces with great sadness, his passing at Maison Vale Hospice (Sudbury) on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at the age of 80 years. Son of the late Régina (Nadon) and of the late Roland Séguin. Predeceased in 2012 by his wife of 58 years of marriage, Elsie (Roy). Loving father of Linda Weber (Rick) of Lively, Patricia (Denis Nadon) of Noëlville, Carole (Richard Rancourt) of Ottawa and Allan (Lise) of Alban. Much loved brother of Yollande Rochon (Lou) of Chelmsford, Madeleine Thomas (Bernie) and Claude Séguin (Marquise) of Alban, Estelle Daoust (Ulysse) of Sudbury and Sister Mariette Séguin of Ottawa. Predeceased by his sisters Ghislaine Séguin and Nicole Laforest (Denis). Proud Pépère of Laurie, Karen, Jennifer, Kimberly, Stéphane, Céleste, Kyle and his “great-grands” Abbey and Tess. In keeping with Gilbert’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private burial service will be held at a later date.
