Peacefully at Providence Manor, Kingston on Monday August 6, 2012. Katherine Sullivan of Kingston, in her 91st year. Daughter of the late Mary (Maime) Scanlan and John Sullivan. Beloved Wife of Jim Scott. Predeceased by daughter, Pamela Ann Scott, and by sister, Mary Prescott as well as brothers, Joseph, Jay and Teddy Sullivan. Fondly remembered by sister-in-law, Alice Holder of Brockville and niece, Cynthia Prescott of California. Katherine will be remembered by the teaching profession for her years of music teaching in the Elgin area as well as her devotion to her home parish as organist at St. Columbanus Church. The family will receive friends at the SCOTLAND FUNERAL HOME, 27 Main Street, Elgin on Thursday morning from 9 o’clock until time of Mass of Christian Burial in St. Columbanus Church, Elgin at 10 o’clock. Rite of Committal, St. Columbanus Cemetery, Elgin. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (Providence Manor) or the Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
