Opa is very much loved by his grandchildren Katie (Michael), Adam (predeceased), Jonathan, Andrew (Amanda), Matthew and Nikki (James) and his great-grandchildren Lucas, Mason, Neriah and Gideon. Predeceased by sister Ingeburg Schutte, brothers Halvar, Jochim and Paul. He will be remembered by many nieces and nephews living in Canada and Germany.
