SCHMIDT, Lydia.-Passed suddenly at the Listowel Memorial Hospital, on Friday, September 7, 2012, Lydia (nee Albrecht) of Elmira in her 84th year.  Predeceased by her beloved husband John of 60 years in 2009.  Loving mother of Eileen (Leif Nielsen) of Kitchener, Kenneth (Margaret) of Kitchener, Edith (John Dunbar) of Listowel, Floyd of RR 3 Moorefield, Gordon (Marina) of Alberta, Doris (Budd McLaughlin) of Elmira, Ronald of Cambridge, Wayne (Irene) of Milverton, Walter of Cambridge, Stanley of Palmerston and Donna Klasen and her friend Kevin Linkert of Ayr. Dear grandmother of 21 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.  She will be sadly missed by her sister; Barbara (late Jacob) Schmidt, brother; Rueben (Matilda) Albrecht and sisters in-law; Lydia and Nancy Schmidt.  Predeceased by her parents; Noah and Katie Albrecht, sister; Edna (late William) Wagler, brothers; Harvey (late Malinda) and Amos and sister in-law Mary Lowden.  Friends may call at the FUTHER-FRANKLIN FUNERAL HOME, 1172 Henry Street, Wellesley, on Monday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  Funeral Services will be held at Crosshill Mennonite Church, Crosshill, on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at 2 p.m.  Pastor Doug Amstutz officiating.  Interment to follow at Rush`s Cemetery, Crosshill.  As an expression of sympathy, donations to Crosshill Mennonite Church or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
