Surrounded by her family on Monday, August 27, 2012, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital. EVELYN VIOLET SALISBURY, 87 years, of Muncey and formerly of Petrolia.  Beloved wife of the late James (1998). Cherished mother of Diane and Wayne of Muncey, Linda Lutz of Welland, Dan Salisbury of Muncey, Marion and Roger of Muncey, and Ken and Noelle of Kelowna, BC. Evelyn will be missed by her thirty-two grandchildren, thirty-four great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. Sadly missed and survived by numerous brothers and sisters in England, and several nieces and nephews in England and Ontario, and her sister-in-law Wanda Gayford. Evelyn was predeceased by a grandson Ricky (1967), and her sons Murray (1963), Jim (1996), and Don (2011). Evelyn will be missed by her friends Olive Bourassa, Betty Butler, and Gwen Hammond. She was a dedicated member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 216 Ladies Auxiliary. A memorial service will be held at the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNERAL HOME, Petrolia on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at 1:00 p.m.  At Evelyn’s request, cremation has taken place.
