On May 10, 2012, at St. Joseph’s Hospice, in Sarnia, Ontario, Marg died peacefully in her 85th year. Just as she lived her life, she was surrounded by her adoring family. We know that she has finally rejoined the love of her life, Sidney Hale Roy (1995). Marg was the loving mother of Judy (Brian) James, Gary (Cheryl) Roy and Dale (Mariette) Roy. Marg was cherished by her 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, with 2 more arriving soon. As the eldest sister, she is survived by Val MacEachen, Ino Thompson, Lloyd MacLean, and Malcom MacLean, and their families. Marg and Sid were always proud of their Nova Scotia roots returning often to visit family and worked for many years in the hosiery department of Sears. The years spent living in “Lake Valley Grove“ were some of their happiest, and 8 years ago she moved to “Northgate Towers“ in Sarnia, before moving briefly to the Residence on the St. Clair. Marg was a member of the Forest and Lakeland Florida lawn bowling clubs, enjoying many years of fun & friendship and many winters in Florida. Respecting Marg’s wishes, there will be no service. Condolences and memorial donations can be sent to the St. Joseph’s Hospice. Many thanks to the staff and volunteers are extended by the family.  http://www.smithfuneralhome.ca/obits.php?id=2247
